I didnt want a TD-3 but couldnt resist all the YELLOW!

I got in trouble in school back in the 90s because our uniform had a strict code of brown or black shoes. I had black shoes with brilliantly bright yellow smiley faces beside the laces.

I already have the TT 303, Mam MB33 Retro (as well as the OG Mam 19inch rack), x0xbox, bass station rack, bass station2... so I really didnt need the TD-3. AND I had read the programming was old school and arcane.

But who could resist this yellow little beastie! As soon as I looked up what the AM stood for - I knew I had to try get one. Ive already used it in 2 tracks over all my other 303-alikes and I think I'll get another (silver) to do the mods to it.

Plastic as all hell, crazy (but not difficult once you get it) to programme, screams like a bugger when distorted - instantly lovable!

Now the question is get a 2nd to mod or wait and see if Behringer bring out a 'Devil' version!

TD3 Yellow Acid

Amazing.

I love this and I only bought it because of the Yellow and Acid design.

the 303 works well, a little complicated at first, but sounds great.

Already used this in quite a few releases and will continue to be a integral part of my studio.

It is really light, which was surprising, but that doesn't make any issues. Well made, responsive and looks the business.

Its Yellow...... very YYYYYeeeeeeellllllllllloooooooowww

I'd say well done for an outstanding product at a fantasic price!

When I use this box, I gotta wear shades as it shouts out It's hear by the loud Yellow colour scheme & secondly for the sound it produces! The added distortion is a nice touch, making the TD-3 scream even more! Nudge nudge, wink wink.... it'll give the same results as all those classic Acid House jams we all know and love. I cant see any real cons as it does what a 303 clone should! Makes ACID.

Finally a very good 303 clone at an exceptional price!

This was such a good deal, that I actually bought two TD-3s, and I'm practically playing, along with my RD-8, hardware Rebirth 338 (1.0) sessions!

Behringer added a few patch points, so you can control your TD-3 externally, and a nice distortion unit that adds a lot of bite to the sound, however, they kept the original sequencer, which may be tricky to use!

Bear in mind, there may be a slight deviation to the filter tuning. Nothing serious, but some people prefer the darker sound that some original units had. If you know what you're doing, there's a workaround to tune the filter to taste.

A second note: The unit is extremely light and plasticky but then again, the original TB-303 was plastic too, so no worries! Finally don't forget to update the firmware, since it fixes an issue with slide.

There is not much to be said about the legendary sound of Acid that this device produces. It has been the staple sound of many genres, for the past 35 years. So can't miss this one, if EDM is your thing.

New to Analog Synths but this was absolutely perfect!

I'm fairly new to analog synthesizers, but when i saw this i knew it was a perfect purchase!

Even though the workflow of the original Roland device is notoriously hard to follow, The behringer is manages to be intuitive in my experience. It didn't take long for me to figure out which knob or button launched which function.

Everything about this device is a pro In my honest unexperienced opinion. Including the color!

The only con is that this really isn't a good standalone device for jamming. i've ordered a Keystep to see if this is a good adition for that purpose!

Right now i'm using the interface on the device to create sequences and record them through my audio interface, which has been a breeze!

Overall super happy with my purchase. This is a synth that makes me smile when i look at it, and nod my head when i play it!

Amazing Sound

Having used this over the pass week it, I have to say this Behringer 303 sounds amazing not to mention its yellow and totally stands out from the rest of my gear. For this price you will be well satisfied. The only down side to this is the Behringer software is needed to change the midi input. If you want it to sync it to your DAW you must change the preference in their software. I wish it just accepected any midi input that is connected to it. I Also wish they made it into a plugin to be used in your DAW, this way you can save sequences and hear with the rest of your tracks. Instead I just program it the normal way but this would be a nice touch. Overall I am really pleased with this product.

Fantastic sound!

It's very lightweight, but the quality on the knobs is good!

I love it! I also have the Roland TB-03, but this is my favourite now!

It goes well with my RD-8 and TB-03 :)

Td-3 is one great TB-303 clone, almost the same sound and I love it very very much. Highly recomended if you are looking for classic acid sound!

Yellow colour suits this synth perfect and aloso I like it a lot!

In near future I will buy second one for poly-chain.

Really nice Smily Amber / Yellow TD-3 tb 303 clone.

for the money you can't go wrong.

pattern loading with midi tool, quite nice simpel software.

Hours of classic acid fun.

Good cheap acid box

Not bad. Build is cheap and plastic but sound is good and works as expected. Tap function still not implemented so will wait for that. Great cheap 303 type box, has the sounds, can do the rubbery stuff and the squealchy stuff. All in, it's not bad, feels very light and plastic but overall it's good. If it breaks, buy another one.
