Behringer TU300 Reviews
Doing its work not more
I have used this many time, on stage in studio. Its still alive and tuning my guitar and bas.
picking up the signal a bit bad, but I think its okey for that price
Fulfils its promises, but takes away volume
It does tune, easy to read the screen, ability to change base pitch and to set different instruments to be tuned.
On the downside, it takes away a large amount of volume and dynamics when it's turned on, so if you want to have a continuously monitoring tuner, this pedal is not a good choice!
Good buy
OK, it's not a very exciting thing to write about. It's sturdy, easy to use and it does the job on a dark stage. I bought it to replace my old floor tuner (so old it was clockwork),that had eventually expired. This one is smaller and more compact and I like it, it takes up much less space in the gig bag and it's a very good buy for the price.
Does the job
Got this as a cheap addition onto a small carry around pedalboard. As the title suggests it does the job. The tuner is very acurate, its just a cheaper version of a Boss TU-2 really which is exactly what I was after at the time.Has Stream/Cent and Mode controls for different tuning settings. The build is solid enough as long as its not going to be getting any serious abuse.
Great product,Great price!
I really don't get why people would spend more on a tuner pedal when thishas everything you could possibly want for a great price and its is fantastic quality!
Best tuner pedal on the market for that price
I originally bought this pedal 4 years ago and it still works as well as ever. This is actually the second one i have purchased to use for my acoustic gigs. It's very easy to use and can be seen in any gig i have ever done.
Ok-ish
It's ok, you get what you pay for. Get a nasty buzz from it and it is not the leads its Defoe coming from the pedal. Will probably replace with a better one soon.
A great tuner!
Does what it's supposed to and I see no reason to get a more expensive tuner except perhaps for the cheap plastic construction leaving a little more to desire.
Good starter tuner
I was new to stomp boxes having used multi effects for years. I went for a few Behringer boxes purely for price and to learn how they worked. I was pleased with this tuner but after a couple of years, the rubber foot pad came off and the LED was constantly lit.
The Behringer pedals are great for the price but they aren't particularly sturdy for gig use.
I would recommend these for studio, home use but if you are doing gigs you should probably consider Boss pedal purely for sturdy casing,
Very good budget tuner
Works very well, especially considering the price. Occasionally it gets confused if you're witching between standard and drop tunings, but otherwise the tuner is highly accurate. The one noticeable feature missing is the lack of sharp and flat symbols on the LED display, but this is a minor quibble. Great bang for your buck.
the casing i great but the pedal itself is fantastic! the tuner is annoyingly accurate! you can spend ages trying to get your guitar spot on with other tuners to check on this and find you are still a little out! an absolute must have and for such an amazing price!!
good digital tuner
A great piece of kit that you should always have rigged up with your pedals or inline to your amp, it is accurate and you can finely tune your strings. An essential for new players but great for everyone
Perfect first pedal!
I needed something cheap and practical. A lot of people complain about the plastic composition of these pedals, however if you're not going to be literally stamping on them to prove a point you won't have a problem.
Extremely happy with this pedal, does the trick at a very affordable price. Perhaps one day I may upgrade to a more luxurious tuner that could very will be faster and more precise - but for this ticks all the boxes and works fabulously for me.
Excellent
Just bought this little beauty and like all Behringer pedals I'm always impressed with them especially the price.. Fits nicely into my Harley Benton pedal board and it's extremely accurate and I find it doesn't bounce around like some tuners do.
Strong and Sturdy and excellent quality....just buy !!
Unreliable tuner
This is an ok tuner...when it chooses to work. Usually you have to press it repeatedly to get the lights on. The tuner in itself is ok and it automatically mutes output sound, which is nice.
This is a fairly basic tuner. It does what it's supposed to. However, sometimes it's very inaccurate for some reason. Not sure if it's defect or not. But it doesn't bother too much since it rarely happens and it's generous pricetag.
It does what it is supposed to do.
This tuner takes its name seriously. It tunes the hell out of your bass or guitar. Furthermore you may calibrate your reference as you wish and you can tune for strange tunings, too. (DADGAD or similar). It is well constructed and easily usable. The only thing I might change is the size of the LEDs. If it si a bright day, you are playing a nice gig outdoor, then you might get problems reading the tuner properly. But this is a vice you will find on most of the devices today. As long as you know where the middle position is (where the tone rings right) it is very nice to use. And it is cheap! But only concerning the price and not the value.
Reasonable tuner
This tuner works pretty good, and would probably be fine for most use if it was a bit sturdier made. It feels plastic and I wouldnt use it excessevly on stage. But for the money, it is quite nice.
Fine for quitar, not so much for bass
I found this tuner couldn't handle the low B of my 5 string bass very well. Many of my basses have a high output signal too and it struggled a little there.
It's fine for guitar, however the plastic screen got damaged after three gigs where a BOSS TU-2 lasted hundreds on the same pedal board and bag.
budget pedal
a handy tuner pedal for the price but although cheap it's still a Behringer which a company that i like, just having problems on tuning my bass guitar specially on dropped tunes but sometimes it catches the the right key tone. but on the guitar its very perfect would recommend on guys who are on a tight budget.
