TU300 my tuneringer

As with all of these Behringer stomp boxes they are based on other manufacturers tried and true classics.

There are very similar layout to the Boss tuner and it functions the same way.

The casing is clearly light plastic along with cheaper knobs than the original but it is a fraction of the price so make the call (if you'er a lead foot, this pedal is not for you)

All the features you expect and I haven't had an issue with low B on my bass, this normally is the deal breaker for me and tuners.

All these pedals have the dc input on the side which I reckon is a brilliant idea for non standard pedal board saving space, but yours might have an issue with this so check it out first.

Great value for money

I brought this pedal as a cheap alternative to the Boss chromatic tuner. Although the pedal is made of plastic it works really well! The interface is clear and is good quality. Used it this weekend for my bass guitars at a christian festival. Worked perfectly, when turned on I could switch between my basses without making any loud noises. Great value for money, the best tuner I have ever used!

Good tuner

Reviewing a chromatic tuner isn't really that exciting since they're basically all the same (give or take).

You can easily change modes (7 different modes avaliable) or adjust the cent of the tune with the 2 buttons on the front which are easy to reach that's always a good thing.

I have since purchasing this tuner switched to a TC PolyTune which enables me to see a little better which string of out of tune while on stage and quickly fix the problem, but if you're one of those guys that like chromatic tuners this is well worth it's price tag.

Hardly worth the money

I think this tuner is slow. The pedal is made of plastic and feels. Good with two outputs. Hardly worth the money,

At last a replacement!

I have been looking to replace a very old Arion foot pedal tuner, that gave up the ghost a couple of years back. This unit is superbly built and incredibly accurate. I have set my own guitars up for over 30 years and feel confident that this unit will do the job of a much more expensive Strobe tuner at a fraction of the cost. We have about 7 Behringer foot pedals between us in our band and the only drawback you ever hear people going on about is the battery change. Okay so you have to push in two pins either side of the pedal to gain access, but the batteries last for ages so it is not like you have to do this all the time. The display is very clear and easy to read under stage conditions. Buy one be happy get more Behringer pedals....

Inexpensive and well made

I need an inexpensive yet well made tuner with good features.

THis fit the bill. It works very well, is easy to use, with good features allowing you to tune to alternate tunings easily.

The readout is easy to see, the on/off foot switch works smoothly.

It does all I need it to do with no trouble.

Good guitar tuner

Live this tuner is really helpful. Detects frequencies guitar very quickly and with the mute option I can tune out the rest of the band or the audience hear my guitar. The material is reasonable, but for the price is excellent. Just do not like the way if puts the stack, it is not practical.

Behringer TU300

To be honest, this is the poor man's pedal tuner, it ain't a Boss TU-3, but it sure doesn't cost half as much and get's the job pretty much done. I recommend it for whoever is building their first pedalboard.

Behringer TU300 (Review)

Since I can remember I always wanted to have a tuner. Even for those who can tune by ear, a tuner is always the right solution.

As I began to play live a portable tuner was not enough. I needed a pedal. I discovered this "Behringer TU300" and I decided to do what should have done the lot.

Until now it has been my great friend on stage.

Not the best, but it has everything I need.

Far from being really good but enough for amateur gigging.

I used one of these with both bass and guitar. It suited me well for like a year or so. Although it's plastic, it is sturdy enough to take hard gigging, but after one year always on the road it started to be noisier and sometimes the jack input was failing and cutting the signal off so I ended up selling it to a friend who would use it mostly at home. It's a nice pedal if you're not gigging too much :)

Behringer TU300 Review

I bought a Behringer PB600 pedalboard and needed a tuner for it. Made sense to go with a Behringer tuner. It fits in the board perfectly. The LED's are nice and bright so you can see it on a dark stage. My only issue with it, is that when you click on, it takes about two seconds to react before it will pick up the notes. Having said that, it was very cheap, so you get what you pay for. Good value for the price.

Perfect Tuner

To begin i feel i need to compare this to give it the respect it deserves. If you are a pedal lover you will notice a striking resemblance to a top end make. No i have had a top end (B) make and it died on me after 2 years.

This however is exactly the same, exactly, function, features etc. Whilst it is so so cheap to buy and highly recommended over the over price top end tuners it is made of plastic. But in all honesty what does that matter when it has outlasted my more expensive model.

Perfrect Pitch

Needed a simple cost effective tuner - here it is ... simple to use and clear to see.

Rather save for a proper tuner

Ok, this willl tune your guitar and bass, if you are patient and if you have perfectly silent connections. T

What it does NOT do well: it is slow to detect sounds, it sometimes misses high or low sounds, it is noisy (at least on my rig), visibility is average. I replaced it some years ago with a Korg Pitchblack, which is perfect for normal needs and during gigs.

Decent tuner

This tuner is fairly accurate, although if you're gonne play drop tunings, it might have hard time locating the correct pitch at first. It's cheap, but if you don't want any split hairs and want to make sure that your guitar is in exact tune, get another tuner.

The problem is mostly in the build quality. For the first time I opened the footswitch to put some batteries, somehow I managed to destroy the spring/button system that switches the electrical circuit on. Well thankfully it's quite easy to fix for yourself with some glue and tape.

perfect

i wanted a tuner that is simple to read, visible in the dark, and isn't a pain to use, and that's exactly what i got, i'm very happy with it
