Super solid little device, just wish it had MIDI

This interface is heavy and solid as a brick, I feel like I couldn't break it if I tried. The dials and buttons all feel nice and solid with no play. The sound quality is fantastic, especially considering it's a cheaper/budget device. Strangely it did give a bit of a buzz with my PC but a few software updates fixed it. I got it specifically for use on a Linux PC, for which it works plug & play with no drivers required, and with Linux-RT and JACK you get a super clean sound and no detectable latency.

Only nitpick is I wish there were MIDI ports, there are some devices in a similar price range that allow for this but that's me just being picky.

Very good intercafe for home recordings.

Overall quality is good. Nobs and case is sturdy. Sound is great. One minus is the lack of good drivers. I would recommend this to anyone doing small scale productions at bedroom settings.

Budget basic interface

This is my first audio interface and I am pleased with the latency and sound quality. Feels solid and well made for the price.

I had some trouble with the drivers but was not frustrating at all to fix. Other than that i had zero issues so far.

Overall, considering the price, it is the best choice around for beginners that are not looking for many features.

Best value

You can't go wrong with the price and feature set of this device. This deal is a steal.

Gets the job done for a super low price.

The interface itself looks good, feels good, has plenty of features especially for the price and the only problem is the 16 bit 48kHz quality.

Pros - microphone input, instrument input, headphones input, speakers input, quality dials, 48V phantom power, direct monitoring, quality build, etc.

Cons - 16 bit 48kHz quality

People on Win10 might find this useful

INST2 input was not working out of the box. Here's the solution:

Try this, but ensure that all other programs are closed before you start (my computer crashed on one of my attempts, even though this is a clean and fully updated Windows 10 testing machine - there appear to be system level bugs here).

1) Right click on the loudspeaker icon in the Taskbar and select "Open Sound Settings"

2) Click on the link "Sound Control Panel"

3) Close the "Sound Settings" window.

4) In "Sound Control Panel", select the "Recording" tab

5) Ensure that the default device is set to any available device that is NOT the device that you want to change.

6) Right click on the device that you want to change and select "Properties"

7) Select the "Advanced" tab

8) Select the Channels / sample rate that you require

9) Click "OK"

A great beginner audio interface!

I've had this model for about 3 months now and it has never let me down. It's got a sturdy all-metal construction and the knobs feel pretty solid too. The sound is pretty good and the midas preamp included in the interface does its job quite well, especially for vocals and fingerstyle acoustic guitar. The in-build gain function is quite functional too. An excellent interface for home recordings and beginners. For this price, it's too good to miss.

Great Interface for that price

I've bought it to connect my Electric Guitar to my pc and use it for recording and overall practice using a virtual amp simulator that allows me to use various different sounds without the need to buy expensive Amps or Pedals.

It is made out of Metal so it looks sturdy and can probably withstand some abuse.

The sound is as great as it can be for a 40 Euro Interface but theres nothing to worry about regarding noice levels and connectivity, i've had no problem connecting it to my Windows 10 machine and my DAW.

I would really recommend this Interface if you are on a pretty tight budget like i am

An alright and cheap interface

the only issue that I have with it is unsupported drivers, and sometimes just out of nowhere you can hear some static, unplugging and replugging the device seems to fix that.

Great quality for the price

I bought it for my second home studio for my second space and I want it to try because the price was great.

It's plastic so it's sturdy but if you drop you break it.

Sound is great not one that is going to drop you from your sit but it does perfectly the job. and it's cheap

Can't get best at this price

I've been using it for about a week, and it's been working pretty well.

It does get the job done, and the design looks very nice and premium.

But in Windows, you will spend some time setting everything up with the drivers.

Midas preamp works great in it, very nice for small home recording. Yet lack of dedicated drivers and working on basic ASIO drivers make it sometimes hard to use, and some settings may cause unexpected distortions in sound which may be troublesome during this one great take, when your guitar suddelny sounds like radio from 1960's. If you prepare everything well it will work great, but it is a lot of hassle to do so.

Great for the buck

I bought this to be able to record my Microphone and Guitar digitaly with better quality without spending too much money.

It's great quality both in sound quality and material quality.

Only flaw I can point out is that I can't really manage to find a use to the instrument inport, since whenever I plug my guitar there and have the microphone plugged in by XLR it has no use at all, which is a shame because I want to be record my guitar while being able to use my microphone. But maybe that's just me that am not very experienced with this yet.

Anyway, It's a great product for the buck.

For the money, the best interface you can get. If you don't mind the driver support.

Got this interface a while back to use with my Rode NT1-A for streaming, recording and filmmaking. For about 40 bucks you get what you expect.

2 mono channels, one mic/6,3mm combo jack and one only 6,3mm, direct monitoring, headphone out and monitor out. It's aluminium chassis is well build and does add a little weight to it. The knobs are perfect to use and overall the usb jack is well build. Only issue i had was the Asio4All driver which i had experiences in the past and choose to avoid at all cost. But after some digging i found specific drivers made for this interface by Behringer which have been discontiunued, but still work fairly well. The fast preset has a latency of around 2ms which is more than enough for me. Only issue is that all the audio that doesn't come out of the asio will be either pitched down or completly muted. Also it has the tendency to not work after unplugging and plugging it back in a few times, but a restart fixes it.

Overall, for the price. It is a well build interface that gets the job done without additional noise.

Bought as a trial into recording on my laptop

I bought this products as a trial to see how difficult it is to record direct to my DAW compared to micing up an amp. it is a lot easier this way thats for sure.

First the good- It feels very solid with its metal frame and all the knobs feel very solid. it has a light for signal which is very useful to see a visual sign everything is working. it has enough features if like me you are starting out in the world of audio interfaces or likewise if you are wanting a small audio interface. it has a input to fit multiple types of connection and also an additional instument jack,

Cons - it is very difficult to get set up as the drivers on the website didnt work on my laptop (win 10) so i had to spend a few hours googling and i found that the drivers for another audio interface made by the same brand worked. there is also sligt background noise but for the money it is expected and it is hardly noticable.

If you want to get into the world of audio interfaces or wanted a small and simple one i would get this!

Good for the price

While this isn't by any means the best interface out there, it's certainly great value for the money. I use it so I can plug into my amp sims and for some basic recording, and it does that really well.

If you're looking for a budget interface, I recommend it.

A great Interface for a fantastic price

Usage:

Cheap songwriting setup - mainly acoustic guitar + vocals.

Essentially a 'set and forget' system for recording ideas etc.

Pros:

It has a reasonably small footprint that, with a bit of jiggery-pokery

I slotted into a spare DVD burner bay.

The mic pre-amp is surprisingly good for the price.

Cons:

ASIO4ALL (on windows) instead of bespoke drivers.

Build Quality:

The knobs have a fairly confident, heavy twiddle feel which is nice.

The stenciled lettering is clear and the led's light up as you'd expect.

Overall the build quality is excellent.

Opinion:

ASIO4ALL have a tendency to have dreadful default settings and are

a real pig to get working, crackle free at any sort of usable latency for

real time monitoring with vst/fx which, pretty much rules this unit out

for a 'guitar' interface. Go for a Line6 or anything with inline fx if that

is your goal.

Where this unit does shine is the build quality and the MIDAS pre-amp.

For the price it's difficult to fault and, for my setup, worth every penny.

Good for the price

It is a decent interface. Bought it to use it with my electric guitar and fl studio and I all I can say that it does the job. Sound quality is alright, the machine itself is sturdy. The only problem when setting up this dude was finding working and not buggy drivers. Behringer official page sucks, so you have to search it yourself. Cannot see any difference between my friends Scarlett Solo interface.

Save your money with this little home studio interface.

Definitely not for electric guitar

Tried to connect guitar to laptop using this USB audio interface. Unfortunately the sound is very poor sound. Almost impossible to use with any kind of distortion.

Pros: Pretty housing, pleasant surface. Looks lasting and reliable

Cons: Lot of noise and interference

It would be great to outline for which purposes it should be used.
