Great product with great price

Works without the fuss with both, Windows 10 and Linux (v. 5.14.18-100. fc33.x86_64). Rode NT1 mic needs volume up to around 9 (on scale of 10 (same as Focusrite.) This model is using same volume control knob for monitors and headphones, but next model in line has separate controls.

does the job...

It does the job at a demo level for me but my advice is to buy the model up or get a native instruments one. This is a 16 bit unit so not alot of headroom which makes a massive difference if you want quality recordings.

Would recomend for the price

This is a very solid product for the price, there are some things that have a little bit of a 'plastic' feeling. But this is expected at the price. Price/quality is really good.

Great thing

This works very well for connecting a microphone up to my computer and recording sax and clarinets. What more can I say? You probably need one if you want to record acoustic instruments into your computer...

Used as a guitar interface

Used it as a guitar interface and for some karaoke here and there. Did its job with no issues. Well worth the price if you are looking for something simple.

So, basically, as the legendary Todd Howard said, "It just works", It has everything that I need.

Maybe the only problem is that I'm almost at full volume, but besides this, nothing.

Very good for the price

Wanted to do some recording on GarageBand and this fit the bill very well. Plugged it into my Mac Mini and it worked out of the box. No issues with latency. Good choice for the first-timer.

Excellent sound card in the price / quality ratio. I don’t see the point in describing it, all the possible pros and cons have already been named. I'm completely satisfied with everything.

Before this product i'll use my processors sound interfaces. But this is way better. There's no latency, no cracked sounds, no clicks and no need to install drivers. It's working on Windows and Mac perfectly. Plug and rock.

Great Little Interface

The U-Phoria is a great little interface. With 2-ins and 2-outs, the Input levels are controlled by 2 individual channel Gain Pots. There is a Direct Monitor Selector on the front and on the far right, a Volume Pot. This volume pot controls both the L/R output, and also the Headphones, so be cautious when switching between the 2. A 48v Phantom Power switch is also available on the back, allowing you to use Condenser Mics, along with a USB port to connect it to another device (PC/MAC).

Depending on your requirements, this 2x2 could be too small for your needs, however, it could also be just perfect. I am using this as my interface between my Laptop, and my PA System in the studio for playback only purposes, and I don't need it to do anything else. An overcomplicated or larger interface would just be a waste of money.

A point to mention, is that it doesn't add or take away any sound. It is clean. Some interfaces add colouring to the sound, making it more bassy, or toppy, both of which, in a studio environment are bad.

If you are a bedroom musician/engineer looking for something small, simple and clean, then look no further :)

Perfect for Studio Mic / an external interface

I have this interface for more than a year now and have been using it every working day, almost 6-7 hours a day with an external microphone (XLR, phantom powered) and external speaker, connected to a MacBook Pro. The connection works flawlessly, I detach and reconnect it a few times a day and the system always switches to the interface without a problem and it has been working without any issues.

So far, I'm very happy and worth the price, specially if you compare it with more expensive alternatives with similar functionality.

UMC22 review

Thats maybe the best audio interface for newbies in sound recording or for bloggers.

Thats some reasons why:

Record two instruments simultaneously

The Behringer U-Phoria UMC22 is, quite simply, the ideal USB interface for recording the human voice or a single instrument.

Easy and intuitive to use, works great with Studio One.

Good interface for little money

It works stably on Mac OS, on Windows there are difficulties with drivers - the manufacturer recommends Fsvzh fl, but the interface does not work with them stably. There are also drivers, but some kind of crackling appears on them during playback. In general, a good interface, metal body, phantom power, lightweight and compact - you can take it with you. Very good for the price.

Its 50 dollars

Not much to complain about. Obviously, it's not the best. It's a bit noisy and doesn't have MIDI I/O. But for $50 it does the job. I have a nicer Audient interface. Honestly, no one would hear the difference. But..... the Behringer also is not replacing my Audient. Great interface for starting out. Not good if you use MIDI gear or have a low output mic.

Good audio card, for its price

A good map, they say that it is very similar to the native driver, so I immediately downloaded another one, it is easy to find it in Internet resources. I use it in the programs "cubase ""guitar rig" I use the instrumental input No. 2 (bass guitar) and the output under the headphones, in the output under the headphones you can connect both the audio system, as well as Electric Guitar Combos. For such a cost, I do not regret that I bought it, but for those who are important, take into account 16 bits here.

Good interface

It is my first external audio interface, so it is difficult to be objective. I would say that this interface is very nice and provides different features for that money. I like its build quality. It fully performs its job.
