Great little interface that does its job and does it well.

Very good

This is a really well made product and has no background noise. It is very reasonably prices as well.

Don't hesitate to buy it!

If you are going to use this for your Studio monitors, recording vocals, or recording instruments, this is a really good buy if you are in a budget. There are better choices, but this does the job like a charm and it is very cheap too.

In terms of build Quality, I would say it is pretty solid. The body is metal, and the knobs feel good to handle, they don't wobble or anything. Overall it has a very good quality physically. The size of it also takes a little space on my desk which is good.

Functionality wise, it does the job really well. My monitors are connected to it and it does not produce any hiss or extra noises. The mic pre amp is also really good, vocals are crisp and strong enough. The only headache I got was ASIO4ALL driver, it was a bit hard to set up, but got through it anyway. Lowering the buffer size makes my sound glitch and stutter.

In conclusion, this is a really good buy and I think you shouldn't hesitate on it. It is really worth the money.

great for begginers who want to expirience

it wont rec the best sound quality , but it is great for only 36euros to start recording your own ideas.

Very good for the money

I've been using mine for over a year now. It works great, does what it should. I had a lot of problems finding the right drivers for it given behringer have nothing but a free generic driver on their website. After getting it to work I've used it for everyday VOIP services, recording vocals and instruments. Connecting my guitar to my pc etc. Great bang for the buck.

Can't beat this

What could be said about this small unit, except it's a more than decent audio interface at unbeatable price...amazinh what you can get for 30¤ these days!

Does what it says on the tin

I have had no problems with this using with Ableton and Logic with an Oktava MK319 condenser mic. Great sound, no noise and easy to connect, the Midas preamps this cheap are brilliant and the phantom power works well. My only gripe would be that separate monitor and headphone volume controls would have been helpful for silencing monitors and listening with headphones when recording Vocals. This can be found on the UMC202HD for a few quid more :)

Behringer delivers exquisite sound

Fast delivery and great packaging. Really happy with the quality of product. Solid build and simple but effective components. Surprised at the quality of recorded vocals even in untreated rooms.

An all-round great product!

I bought this product some time ago as a first step into home recording, and it has been perfect for all my needs. If you're looking to record alone, I can see no problems with this product, unless you want to, say, multi-mic an acoustic guitar, or mic an acoustic guitar and a voice separately yet simultaneously, in which case there are plenty of more appropriate products on the market!

Very usable, very intuitive and very consistent audio - I have yet to encounter any glitches in any regard! Another nice aspect is the sturdiness of the casing, with what feel like well secured knobs.

From my experience with it (about 6 months of constant use) I couldn't recommend it more!

do the job - very easy

I use this interface to record guitar and bass on audacity.

easy to install, the computer sees it as an external sound card. You choose this way in and out on audacity, and let's play !

Clip LED, input level seting, XLR or Jack input.

No weird noises at the record...

Good for the price

I got more than I expected from this product. So far, I didn't have any problems with it. I would recommend this if you have a tight budget(like me). This is the first audio interface I bought for my self and I don't see any reason to buy a new and expensive audio interface.

Pros: Affordable, Good sound quality, good build quality, does't clip when recording bass

Cons: Volume knob for headphones and monitors is common, No other output connector(only TRS), asio driver

Great product

This product really is great for the price. Compares favourably with Focusrite Scarlett, but at a fraction of the cost.

I purchased this for use away from my normal studio and for recording quick clips and working on ideas. Also as a way of monitoring my guitar alongside music e.g. youtube/audio to practice to.

The midas preamp is a nice addition - also present on my X18 mixer.

The one thing lacking is Midi ins/outs which would make it a great portable all rounder. Also it might be helpful to be able to change the mix of monitor/playback like on some competing products - but to have monitoring at all is a great feature.

Would buy again, and will be taking this internationally as it's highly portable and a great tool. Have also used Focusrite Scarlets, M-Audio Audiophile, Presonus AudioBox, and this sits right there with the competition at a much better price.

Superb for the price

I purchased this as I wanted a proper USB audio interface for home recording. I wasn't sure what to expect given the low price, but I am thrilled with the purchase,

The device itself feels like a quality product - it's reasonably weighty and feels like it will last. It has a nice metal finish and no sharp edges.

The sound quality is excellent and comes with 48v phantom power (needed for condenser mics), without the need for a separate power supply (this all works plugged in via USB).

As a bonus, you also get a free download of Traktion 5, a DAW software. I won't use this myself as I already have a DAW I use, however if you don't have a paid DAW yet, this is a nice bonus.

Considering the low price of the item, it's superb. I recommend this to anybody wanting a decent USB audio interface on a budget.

Small, Versitile, and worth Every Penny

By far one of the better audio interfaces I have owned. Bought as a replacement for an AKAI EIE PRO after major driver issues with OS X.

This is a powerful interface in a small package. It fits well within a 1U rack space, and has most major controls on the front, apart from the phantom power switch, which is located on the back - major drawback if it's an in-situe interface and you cant access the back easily.

Sound quality wise, it's exceptional - Ia pair of TRS outputs means it can be connected to practically anything; 3/4" pair to any unbalanced stereo pair/socket, or 3/4" TRS pair to XLR or balanced input, giving majer versitility. The MIDAS pre-amp works well with any microphone Ive used.

A single USB-B connector on the back will connect to any Workstation with a USB socket as it's a class-compliant device - no drivers required. An external power supply for Phantom power would have been nice, but that's personal preferance more than anything. The Kensington lock socket on the back is a great touch, making securing the interface a doddle.

Overall, a great interface for the price and would happily buy again!

Great interface especially for beginners.

I was very impressed with the performance & quality of this product. The design is accessible and all the features are useful & straightforward. The sound is brilliant for the price. I don't think you could get a better interface for the price. The product os very portable as well which is always a plus! I used it for both recording vocals, instruments & playing backing tracks live with a band. It works great with Garageband, Logic Pro & MainStage. It is a good choice for beginners to step into the world of audio interfaces.
