Good quality and great prise.

Just as low noise as advertised, there weren't much noise from this little fella. Works perfectly for my project.

Non-linear volume curve

The sound quality is excellent and it just works out-of-the-box. The only problem I have with it is that at least with the standard Windows driver, the percieved volume is at maybe 80% at 20. Volume levels 21-100 will adjust the last 20% of the percieved volume.

Basic but works fine within limitations

If all you need is a basic audio interface for your computer, then this does the job fine for line-level signals as long as you take the time to understand the basics of getting the inout levels correct. Not for use directly with most microphones, but fine from a small mixer or even some guitar pedals, if they output enough level. Good enough at the price but don't expect miracles!

Solid inexpensive Audio Interface

I bought this to have a small interface while streaming with a DJ controller onto OBS.

Simple and easy to use, but not many options as far as connection types, no xlr.

Does what it should, but doesn't have anything fancy.

Sound quality is fine for streaming and online video. Would not use this for a high quality audio mix.

Price is definitely good.

It's a no brainer for the price and easy to use.

Quality on a budget

This is a very capable little gadget, considering the cheap price point. The DAC chip inside perfoms quite admirably.

One thing to note, however, is that Behringer has started using a different DAC chip since I bought mine. The current revisions of UCA202 are using a cheaper off-brand component which doesn't perform as well as the original one.

So if the quality of the DA conversion is important to you, you might want to look elsewhere. Previously this was known as the king of budget DA conversion, but these days it's no longer true.

Does the job

Handy to carry around and good enough for most jobs. Will need RCA cables, and works best connected to a small mixer (and some not so simple connection configurations)

You get what you pay for

Simple but functional interface with no additional bells and whistles for an absurdly low price.

Don't expect miracles, but this little unit does do what it says it will do, no more nor less. The unit is plug and play, ready to use literally within seconds of unboxing it, which is an excellent feature especially for an audio noob like myself.

No problems

It is easy to use, and the sound quality is nice improvement from my desktop pc's sound card. I just plugged it in and forgot about it. No regrets.

low budget - medium value

The U-Control comes along in a pretty cheap silver plastic dress.

As it connects via chinch and minijack (+SPDIF) it is more an external usb soundcard than a musicians audiointerface. But connected to an analogue mixing desk it performs better than many onboard sound devices. I used it for two years as part of a low budget homestudio. It did a good job compared to built-in-mainboard soundcards. In a race against medium price range usb interfaces (100-150€) it has no chance in sound quality. Besides that it was always pretty hard to keep recording levels in a good range to prevent distortion. Having the price in mind it is worth the money. Keeping the sound in mind it is worth to spend more.

At the moment I´m using it at my office computer to listen to music. It´s doing nice here.
