Behringer UM300 Reviews
Great metal sound.
The pedal is really good if you know how to use it well, if you don't on the other hand. You will get the single most ear killing noise to ever come out of a pedal. The features are great and are easy to use.
Amassing sound
I really like this pedal.Sparking ,crunchy sound,to heavy distortion.Best for the money
Great little thing!
Especially if you are metalhead on a tight budget.
I would consider buying this thing the second after a guitar.
Great Metal
I ordered this for my little metal son as a gift. It plays beyond its worth! Tho only thing is that its a plastic case, but it doesn't affect anything so it's ok.
Great little inexpensive foot pedal!
I definetly would buy it again if I had to!
Overall great pedal for the price.
This pedal is great for the price. It has a huge range of tones and in my opinion it sounds better than the Metal Zone ( the pedal it's based off) the only downside is that it is plastic but really for the price it's not a problem and it seems to be sturdy enough. Great pedal!
Naaa man
I might have just used it 2 or 3 times before its jack broke done. Not so good tone but if you just need a cheap distortion to pedal there you have it.
Clone of Boss Metal Zone
This pedal is a clone of the Boss Metal Zone, same tone, MUCH cheaper price! would be better for home use as its body is pure plastic, but other than that its a good pedal, got some great heavy tones outta it so far. for about €24 you cant go wrong.
This is just amazing pedal for meaty solo/lead line ;))))))) Can recommend to anyone who wants meaty distortion for 30 euro!!!!
Poor build quality
Mine broke in 2 weeks of usage. No advisable purchase.
Great sound
awesome heavy sound and great tones! No problem with the plastic housing.
Does the job
This pedal is supposed to be an exact Metal Zone copy. It does sound like one. Plastic enclosure and plastic jacks are definitelly not optimal but you get what you pay for - I wouldn't gig with it but for home use I don't think it will break.
Gets you into a - metal zone -
See what I did there? ;) Great pedal. Gotta love the color, too.
Very good Metal Zone copy
Like other affordable Behringers pedals, it is plastic housing.
The knobs are also plastic and stiff, but there is a lot of them so the pedal is very tweakable.
Delivers great metal tones for the price.
effect pedal
verry good quality,sound and price!
Outstanding value for money great sounding pedal.
The tones you can get out of this pedal are much better than what I expected!
Pink Metal Zone ?
Good sound. Distortion does what should! Back to back comparison to metal Zone shows it is really similar sound.
Like other affordable Behringers pedals it is plastic housing.
Con:
This is not true bypas and when it is turned off it still has some minor impact to sound.
Overall Good distortion in pink plastic housing.
Amazing Cost-Effective Pedal
I bought it as a replacement for my boss metal core pedal as I needed a quick cheap replacement to tour with. Has good or even better sound when used in an fx loop. 6 Knobs to ensure great tone and perfect high gain distortion which most amps from fender or yamaha are unable to do properly.
Bargain alternative to MZ
It sounds like a Metal Zone.. if that's what you want this is a bargain pedal. It has a huge range of tone (too much really), the mid EQ has a massive range is is super sensitive. There are insane amounts of gain in this pedal, more than you could ever want or need. The range of usable sounds is pretty small in my opinion but the same can be said of the Boss pedal. For the price it's a bargain, my only complaint would be the cheap plastic enclosure.
Great pedal but..
I bought this pedal , because a friend of mine had it , and loved the sound. However how dissapointing is that if I plug headphones, I just hear from left headphone... Doesn't matter quality , I tried with awesome headphones . Tried with several guitars , and same happened. So I'm not using it .
