Excellent ratio between price and quality

I have been using the X32 for years and am very satisfied. The Compact offers me all the functions as big brother. Handling is more practical becouse of the size.

Great

Great Product, but would do with some better preamps, however, resonable for the price.

An affordable powerhouse

I really can’t fault this desk. Purchased this for use in a wedding band. Admittedly, it’s quite heavy to carry around for gigging however the features packed into this desk are incredible. The sound quality is excellent for both live and studio settings. Onboard Fx are pretty powerful too. The ability to control the desk via phone / iPad for FoH and monitors is a game changer (wireless router purchased separately).

Highly recommend!

Amazing Kit

I mastered this mixer within weeks of using it and I must say it's a breeze using it. Responds well and delivers great results. Highly recommend it.

Groundbreaking

How they made this much mixer for the money is still beyond me. This has been an absolute WORKHORSE for me over the years, and I can't imagine a gig in my line of work that it couldn't handle. My only regret is that I don't have two!

Ageing really well

No need for a full review here, you can find those done in plenty of depth elsewhere. For my use case - a church sanctuary - this is more than enough desk to cover our needs. I can handle everything in the desk and ship out multiple channels over USB for streaming or recording. Plenty of room for expansion if required.

The sound is good... sure there are more modern desks with higher quality AD/DA etc but for the cost, this is still more than most require. Fantastic value for money and so easy to use that I can explain it to people in minutes.

Best Digital 32 channel desk for the price

I was a bit hesitant at first when I was looking to buy this desk, but only until I turned it on and got into it. It's very easy to use and user intuitive. Loads of different options and ways how to do things on it. Scene recalls make it so easy to bring back any settings. I would definitely recommend this desk to anyone who's getting into the Digital Mixing Desk world or looking to upgrade to a better and bigger digital desk!

Prefer X32Compact above M32R - Good workflow, noisy preamps - needs a Midas DL32

I prefer the workflow of the X32Compact above the Midas M32R. There are more buttons for direct access, and they are where you need them. Instead of on the Midas they are in one lump under the display. Also the display is bigger on the X32C. The preamps in the Behrs are ok, but a bit noisy. Midas DL32 stagebox give me the best of two with far better preamps and the best workflow on a compact mixer.

The physical size is compared between the Behr and the Midas are slightly in favor of Midas, but not so important when it pairs with the better workflow on the X32C.

I added a Dante card to my order, so feel I have gotten the best setup for a compact mixer that I can think of for live mixing.

There are limitations in the design that one needs to assess, when comparing tp other brands of small digital mixers. But for me, the sweeter sound of Midas preamps still soar above more options.

As of quality, nearly half a million sold X32´s says it all. They are work horses, and I have dragged several of them on multiple jobs with no problems.
