Behringer X32 Rack Reviews
X32rack top
Very good product, best price preformance
Harmonizing Heights
A compact powerhouse, a flexible solution for my band's audio needs, this rack-mounted mixer might be our new best friend. The X32 Rack offers all the capabilities of its larger sibling, the X32 console, but in a more space-efficient form. Whether weâre working in a tight studio or need a portable setup, this rack delivers. With 16 digitally programmable Midas mic preamps, the X32 Rack ensures pristine audio quality. These preamps are renowned for their transparency and warmth, making your recordings and live performances shine. The X32 Rack seamlessly integrates with the Behringer S16 digital snake. You can expand your I/O options by connecting compatible devices via the AES50 digital-audio network connectors. Also, mixing on the iPad from anywhere in the venue allows us to fine-tune our live sound in unprecedented detail. In summary, the Behringer X32 Rack is a reliable workhorse that combines functionality, affordability, and top-notch audio performance. Whether youâre a live sound engineer, studio producer, or gigging musician, this rack is worth every penny.
The best of its kind.
In my opinion, one of the best and most convenient digital mixing consoles. Good stuff full of effects and sound processing. The rack design provides a lot of possibilities for use in different conditions and for different tasks. The price corresponds to the quality. The convenient display for navigating around the mixing console also gives it a big advantage over other digital mixing consoles. Another very big plus of this device is the ability to expand and use it with virtual mixers, for example from Waves, which gives even more opportunities for creativity. I recommend it to all musicians. You will be satisfied.
Quality Rack Mixer
This Mixer is amazing when paired with the X-32 Mix app on my iPad.
This combined pair make the x-32 a doddle to use in a live setting.
A great mixer for smaller bands (4 piece) or even as an IEM set up for monitoring larger set ups.
If you have an AKAI MPC, the x-32r can be used to expand the ins/outs of the MPC via the USB class compliant option on MPC, where you can expand the ins/outs.
A brilliant Behringer product.
Very nice mixer, it's features are unbeatable for the price (in my opinion). Running small venue for a live performance and recording. If it is rebooting occasionally, try to change the wifi router for a better one.
Great Mixer
Has all the features and I totally like the small foot print. Highly reliable as well.
I found a way to use the 6 aux ins as inputs. Though with limited processing functions, it works
Aux outs could also be used to expand the mix bus outs!
X32 Rack - unbelievable value and functionality
X32 is a great mixing desk, and recording system. A work horse
The only downside to it is that my 5 year old one burnt out, and needs a new internal power supply, which can’t be sourced anymore . So I had to buy another one for twice the price.
it's really good
very detailed reviews here. i'm just gonna say it's great built with many options. satisfied
Best tools in the price range.
Easy to use, with wifi remote or OSC control, multi channel interface IO, card slot and 2 AES port.
Incredible what this mixer can do!
It is really a Swiss army knife for sound reinforcement.
You should not have a problem sitting in the audience and mixing from your tablet/iPad as long as you have a good router with a manual IP number, hidden network and a password.
I bought a SD16 and a good quality shielded Cat6 cable to have a total of 32 physical inputs on stage, great for multitrack recording too!
Great for the price
If you are looking for a Rack mountable mixer with 16+ audio inputs build-in, this is a great choice.
The X32Rack comes with exactly the same hardware as the normal X32 console, except for the physical control interface.
It can be controlled from the front, but most people will likely use the remote software created for X32 it runs on PC (Windows/Linux), MAC, iOS, Android.
It can also be remote controlled from a X32 console or a Behringer X-touch interface.
I have primarily used it as an audio source switcher/mixer for 7.1 surround setup with 4x NX3000D Amplifiers, switching between a Tascam BD-MP1 player and PC for cinema use. It works great for this purpose.
I also have a XR18 (the little brother of the X32 Rack), and have used it for many years as audio mixer for DJ/Event use, and to my knowledge the X32 has the same effect and features, plus so much more.
But if you are only looking for the core mixer, and expect to only use AES50 extensions, maybe consider looking at Midas M 32 C.
Great product
This mixer perfect match for my need. Fast shipping, friendly customer service
Small buf a lot of features
I've bought it for band rehearsals, i was looking for a mixer with at least 5 stereo IEM outputs, and only this mixer could deliver that. 16 XLR inputs with 6 line inputs is more than enough for band practice. Additional16 digital inputs allow you to use it as USB interface for playbacks, or you could just connect stagebox and expand it to 32 inputs.
X32 edit for PC is intuitive to use, but as all digital mixers it takes time to configure it to your needs.
Good stuff and quality
Use this X32 in a lot of gig a few years. No problems.
Amazing rack mixer for remote applications
The Rack version of the X32 is an amazing mixer suitable for situations where mobility is important and a fisical interface is not mandatory.
Several different softwares provide massive functionalities that make the X32 a great tool.
Nice Rack
Who needs a whole console this with S16 gives you everything
Behringer X32 Rack perfect companion
the Behringer X32 Rack is the perfect companion for small studios. IT has som many capabilities, small factor, and easy to use for the most part. Paired with a personal monitoring system, such as a the DP 48 from Midas, practicing quietly and recording at home is a breeze.
Very Good For The Price
This is a great quality mixer with a very good price.
Pros: Full digital suite of channel effects & processing (EQ, compressors, delay, verb, etc.), small footprint, control interface on unit if wireless is not working, easy to learn and use software.
Cons: Preamps are good but not great, front control is a bit clunky.
Overall: This is a great little mixer for the price. It has an interface on the front so it can be controlled if there are any Wi-Fi issues. The back only has 16 XLR channels so you will need to buy a digital snake to realize the entire 32 channels but that is probably also a way to keep the cost at such a level. The preamps seem to me to be better than the standard Behringer pre-amps and may be slightly better than what one would expect for the price. The interface software is pretty easy to learn and gives you a full suite of effects and processing. Like all the digital boards I've dealt with, the best part is the ability to save a file and bring it back up when you work with that band again. I've seen these things thrown in kits during tours as a very inexpensive backup in case all else fails. It will get the job done (as long as it's 32-channels or less) and it's been a workhorse for us. Highly recommend.
Industry standard console
Does what it says on the tin
excellent mixing console
You won't buy a better and more versatile mix for that price.
Effects in great quality, expandable to 32 inputs and 16 XLR outputs .
