Online ordering very easy to use and response to order very quick. Will use again and seriously recommend to others.
Wonderful , portable 12 Channel Mixer. Beautiful FX
Wonderful Mixer, it has 12 channels, and 4 mono and 4 stereo. Excellent for my synthesizer setup. I often use the FX's on board this mixer, it has excellent Reverbs.
Decent mixer for the price
This is quite a decent mixer for the price. Sounds good, built in effects are good too, some nice reverbs and mod efx in here.
Good for small events or recordings
I use this soundboard for small events and some home recording, it's a good product in terms of quality / price.
Pros:
Has effects and a general eq
anti-feedback and voice cancel are good
recording possibility
Cons:
Does not have muiltipista recording
It's a good table to start small events up to 12 channels and record
Just make sure you know what you're getting!
I think this mixer is geared more toward live use than studio/multimedia. Unfortunately, this didn't fully click until I had it in my possession. Only then did I realize that the main outputs are XLR only (not a bad thing, but I only had one XLR cable on hand) and that there are really no other separate outputs. I wish I would have noticed this before I ordered it, but with all of those ins and outs limited photos, it's hard to tell. Pay attention, self!
I need to be able to send different signals to my monitors and headphones. I thought the "monitor" out might accomplish this, but it's just a stereo(?) output that doesn't really do the job. I did, however, love having the switchable graphic EQ available. I could use it to fatten up the sterile, treble-heavy tone of my headphones (Sony MDR-7506).
It also has some gimmicky, but perhaps fun, features such as the voice canceller that makes me think it is more aimed toward use for karaoke.
It sounds good. If this meets your needs, I have nothing bad to say about it. It just didn't meet mine.
Good
Sounds great. Only issue is that the soundcard has only one output so I can't record the channels separately
For home use
I am using the Xenyx QX1222USB for home recording of my hobby music. It has excellent features - fulfils all amateur and also a bit higher needs. I use it to record the parts with Mac book Pro GarageBand - works flawlessly.
Connecting my Yamaha CP5 stage piano (to a stereo channel) and listening it on the Yamaha H80 monitors, I was somewhat disappointed though - the sound when connected directly is incomparably better - much softer and warmer, via the mixer it is harsh and unpleasant - especially higher sounds. I could not figure why - maybe I set wrong settings.
Good product
This is a very good mixing desk for the price. Some say Behringer is "low quality" but I find this desk very good value for money. Of course it could have more features but then you'd need to pay more for that. To be more precise, one first must think very well what uses one will give to the a mixing desk before deciding, as each has its own specifications and potentialities.
I bought it mostly for the possibility of attaching effects units or monitors, per track, PRE-Fader. Thus is useful to connect my Kaoss Pad 3 because I can feed the whole signal to the KP3 and turn the volume all the way down on the track on the desk and then I manipulate it completely on the KP3 (pure wet signal). This is not possible with Post-Fader sends.
All the rest is perfectly acceptable and works fine. For me, a very functional mixing desk. Also a few alternative ways to send signals in and out (headphones stereo out, RCA in/out, main stereo out, USB stereo in/out) so I can connect to monitors, the computer via USB, etc. all at the same time.
Greta mixer but...
I have always been a fan of Behringers Mixers i own around 10 of them they are great build quality sound but the new range is a wee bit of a let down and here is why
I own an entertainment company supplying karaoke cabaret and so on this mixer took me over 3 hours to set up the effects not as straight forward as they used to be with all the new effects tap and bpm and so on. if it is the one let down it would be the effects apart from that everything else is fantastic
Also Rack mount kits are no longer included with the mixers something i heavily rely on
Perfect solo/2 piece gig mixer
This mixer is excellent. It has 6 XLR inputs, RCA in/outs, auxs, effects unit and its light weight. The only issue is the channel metering...there is no PFL. That is a standard now in modern times. The metering is dependant on a yellow light flashing in order for their to be strong signal...this isn't good enough. Get your act together Beringher! But other than that minor issue, its a great desk!
