Excellent! Although not as comfortable as Sennheiser.

Great sound, fantastic build quality, looks and attention to details, comfortable enough to keep it on the head for hours (although I had more comfortable headphones in the past).

Best Closed Headphones

Excellent closed headphones from Beyerdynamic.

Balanced and articulate sound, fairly comfortable on ears though its not a light set and the headband never lets you forget it's there.

Nothing closed beats it for balance and resolution and accuracy.

Could be used confidently for mixing and mastering.

Two sets of pads, one is typical fabric type (velour) and one is pleather, and they are fairly easy to swap.

When using the fabric pads you'll notice a more flat sound with less articulation in the trebles.

When using the pleather pads you'll notice a slight, very slight decrease in mids and slightly more treble articulation.

A real pleasure

These are now the best headphones in my studio, and their companions are all professionals..

Great build and design, sturdy, light and comfortable.

The sound is very respectful and honest. You hear everything that is there and, equally or more important, they don't add anything that is not there.
