beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 250 Ohm 5-stars Reviews
Great gear
Great soundstage, super comfortable and great build quality. Very happy with these
Great, but for more advanced uses
These are really comfortable and great for long sessions for monitoring in the studio. I would not get them for production though, would need a little bit more, they're quite flat for this kind of purpose.
Sound is very clear and spectrum is wide, very manageable.
Very good studio headphones
I've been using them for quite some time now, and these stand out from my other studio headphones in terms of bass and wearing comfort. A friend of me has the same ones with 80 Ohms for a long time now, and they're still holding up nicely. Only downside is that these require an AMP, so they're not suitable for directly connecting with phones or mp3 players. For these the lower Ohm variants will be better. I like the design and that almost everything seems replaceable, I've had headphones that wear out and are almost impossible to get back in perfect condition, these are different.
Great headphones for cheap!
Excellent sound quality and comfortable af!
best close type headphones in price range
good build quality, comfortable during long guitar practices and vocal recordings
Make sure your audio interface have enough output for 250 Ohm headphones - this is important )
Battle tested :)
My old DT770's died out beyond repair after 12+ years of frequent use. That's certainly long enough to be aware of pros (comfort, sound quality/price, closed-back design, spare parts) and cons (plastic clips are prone to cracking, velour pads are hard to clean) - and immediately order new ones.
Delivered 3 working days after order. All fine.
Beyerdynamic... (all kinds)
Either you love Sennheiser or you love Beyerdynamic
Both are born from incredible German engineers and perfectly shows just how great German sound engineers are.
For me it is Beyerdynamic all the way
And I mean that literally.
For tracking: DT 770 pro 250 ohm, there is literally nothing better.
For critical listening BEFORE mastering nothing comes close to the DT 880 pro 250 ohm
When mastering.. DT 990 pro. Again at 250 ohm
It is simply a "total solution"

Great product
Great product for this price! You sure better have an audio interface of any kind to connect it to to enjoy the full volume. I love it!
Good sound but hard to get tight fit
Decent quality and sound is good (different but on a par to my 1770s). The problem is trying to get a tight fit, there's just not enough tension in the headband. Still, they're light and easy to wear but the sound would undoubtedly improve with a better seal. Overall hard to argue with the value at this price.
Good closed-back headphones
Great headphones. Used for recording, work a couple of hours comfortably. But for me, the downside is the discomfort with prolonged use. And I didn’t like mixing in these headphones, DT 990 is much more pleasant for mixing. For closed-back headphones, the 770 is fully justified.
best headphones for the price
there are atm no better headphones for this price only downside are the size ajustment metals they are a bit wobely
Amazing Headphones
I love these headphones. I use them for everything, from audio production and mixing/mastering to just listening to Spotify while I'm working the day job.
You will need a headphone amp. I bought the ART HeadAMP 4 and they've worked very well together
Great headphones
The sound is great!
Excellent Headphones
Good set of Headphones for Studio Monitoring.
These are worth the investment.
I was looking for something to use for my vocal recording and these do not disappoint. They are really comfortable and something which I can wear for long periods of time. The true sound helps me monitor the audio in ways that I need to for my vocals. I did a lot of research on them before I bought and they have really lived up to my expectations. You can see why they are an industry standard. There is a bit of weight to the coiled cable so I bought an extension cable and tend to gather the coil on my lap if I’m sat down, or hook it on a stand if stood up, but it’s not something that concerns me too much. There are variations of these available for different uses, such as closed and open back depending on what you need them for. I went with closed due to using them for vocals 99% of the time. If you are looking to invest in headphones these really are the way to go.
My first studio headphones
As my first studio headphones I cannot really judge the sound because I have no experience with others, but the build quality and comfort are excellent.
Built like a tank and sound is perfect.
I always recommend these headphones as a first choice. I'm surprised how great spectral balance they have even though they are closed-back. I've used ones for 10+ years daily and they are in great shape (except the pads). The coiled cable is a must because straight ones are too stiff and will brake the wire at the entry of the headphone. The sound balance is pretty similar to Sennheiser HD-600.
Nice headphones for the beginner
Top quality for this price.
The best a man can get
No matter if you're professional musician or a fat block like me, you'll never experience a better quality sound from a pair of STUDIO headphones.
You think you love music? Just wait until you have these filthy soft headphones on your head.
Zhe Germans are known for their attention to details and their engineering.
Oh baby, I can just feeeel those velour ear pads singing me a lullaby and putting me to sleep.
You can even use them if you want total quiet.
Great headphones!
I love the sound. I use it for recording and mixing/mastering. I think it's best use is recording, but mixing and mastering can also be done.
