Great all-round headset

Bought primarily for gaming and I was pleasantly surprised by microphone and sound quality. Great build quality and very comfortable pair of headphones.

Best in the gaming and streaming category

As an audiophile and gamer, I was looking for the perfect combination of audiophile headphones paired with an impeccable microphone.

After a bit of search, the name of the MMX-300 appeared multiple time. Although it is not the most accessible of its category (265€ at the time, now 235€), you definitely get what you pay for. A high end audio fidelity of the DT 990 PRO along one of if not the best attached mic you can get.

I definitely recommend it, it has so far lasted me 2 years and counting.

Amazing headset! Way beyond expectations!

Besides the amazing sound and great mic the most important thing that makes this headset great is the quality and comfort. The earcups fully cover your ears and the material will not wear off. I have used this headset for a few months and would recommend this to anyone.

Great sound just like most of their headphones, but very poor quality

- Left ear pad failed on me after 40 days of use

- Microphone is very mediocre quality

- Sound is comparable to DT770 (which is great)

I'm also very skeptical about the durability of the jack connector on the headphones if you are someone that needs to unplug it a lot.

I returned them as mine broke, and I will purchase a good old DT770 again with an external microphone.

Homeworking just got better

Covid-19 puts us in a position to work from home. The headset provided by the company is one of those 20 Euro things that do what they have to do, but not for this long.

This headset may be overkill, but the comfort and sound quality is really making those Teams meetings easier… and, now I finally want to keep the thing on my head and listen to music when not in a meeting.

• Clear sound

• Good bases

• Connection with phone and mic plug or an integrate plug

Perhaps a USB connection would be useful as third option.

Heavier than the 20 Euro thing, but it doesn’t feel heavy on the head.

Great quality of sound and microphone, but...

But sound volume wheel on the cord broke after few month of using headset. I was trying to not use it at all and it broke, sometimes sound disappear in one ear, when i try to touch wheel it works again. You will hear a terrible rustle when rotate the wheel, like a headphone for 20 euros.

Universal headphones

Great headphones for music and gaming. With theese you can hear everything around you.

i'd recommend you amplifer othervise sound wouldn't be so clear. But if you have one i'm 100% sure that you will hear something new in music you've been listening.

Great audio positioning in gaming. Every step and every squeak.

But as an always you should try them first before buying. For example my head is too big for them so i cant use them for more than 3 hours in a row.

To sum up if you're looking for some quality sound headphones this is your choice

Solid upgrade

I used to have general gaming headsets before MMX-300 and so far I've been very happy with the product. Sound quality is good (by my standards) and the ease of use as headset for computer and phone is very welcome feature! I've managed to bend the single line aux-connector a little bit but besides that the product is sturdy.

Ideal for 7.1, 5.1

Very nice, high quality headphones with amazing sound quality. You can hear much more in them than in other headphones of a similar class (the smallest details, rustles, etc. in games and music). I definitely recommend buying!

For phones, tablets and PC buy 32 OM. With high resistance - an amplifier is required. The whole sound palette - bass, mids and so on - depends on your source - 99% !!!!)))

For the manufacturer: - ideally, if the microphone were still detachable.

Excelent headphones for gaming

Amazing positional sound for gaming. I use it together with Dolby Atmos for headphones on my computer. Best pair of cans I've owned. Amazing soundstage, nice and crisp treble, almost too bright. Almost. Good clarity on the bass, but not overpowering. Better than all the other "gaming" headphones out there that are terrible in the sound department. Very good quality on the materials as well, as expected at this price point. They feel solid, and are superbly comfortable. The cables are thick and feel good. I expect many years out of them.

Treble and prety much nothing else

I was so excited to get these. I remember loving the 770s when I had them on loan for a week and yet these sound.. hollow. Maybe the soundstage is too big but it sounds like the music's playing from at least a kilometer away. I seriously don't know what's wrong with these, I tried plugging them into everything I have: my old iPod Classic, my 2015 MacBook Pro, my desktop PC, my Mackie Onyx 2.2 and I even borrowed my friend's fiio k3. It made no difference whatsoever. I can hear nothing but treble. The bass is practically nonexistent unless you listen to somethng where you only have a bass playing, like the intro to Another One Bites The Dust. Entire instruments disappear (electric guitars, violins, etc) and all you're left with is what sounds like artificial reverb.

Not great with ASUS Xonar PCI card

It is probably the fault of the card rather than this headset but this combination was a flop on a Linux box. I intended to use this for skype, Viber etc. The volume was not high enough and music did not sound clear. When used for VOIP the other parties were not satisfied with the volume or clarity. As it is it seems like an expensive mistake.

It's also heavy, uncomfortable, and feels hot when worn.

I will try it with a laptop which I have in another location and update the review if things improve.

Really good headset for broadcasting/shoutcasting

My main use for the headset is broadcasting, streaming, webcasts and remote sessions with customers. It is also nice for listening to Music, but there are better headphones out there (for this price).

It feels good wearing it, even for long hours. Very comfortable "on" (over) the ears. The sound quality of the headphones and the microphone are great. Nothing to complain here.

It comes with 2 cables. The headset cable with the remote-control is pretty short and aperantly it's not possible to get an extension for it. The second cable is split between microphone/headphones and is a lot longer, but no remote control.

I would recommend it for gaming and any kind of broadcasting.
