Good mic

Short (10 cm.) and light, I use it as a hihat mic on a dark hats. I hear no unpleasent overtones, so it's good enough for me for live and for the demo recordings I do in my studio. Good fit is the t.bone WS 50 windscreen which you can buy separately. In the end it's made in Germany, period!

Very light

Because it is very light and not made of metal it feels on the hand not professional - first emotion.

Excellent microphone!

This was my first experience of buying in this store. Everything went very well, the microphones were promptly sent. I received the goods within 10 days from the date of payment.

The microphones turned out to be excellent, light weight, compact, and the sound is detailed. Made in Germany, the quality of execution is excellent!

Really nice!

I bought this TG I53 to give it a test with my drum set and I used it only live so far. I quite like the sound and I am considering a second one to complete my set. Not quite sure how it will work for studio work but for a live band, its' awesome! Very small actually, I knew it was small but this is too small. Not a big deal thou, kinda cute. Well done Beyerdynamic, lovin' it!

Beyer TG 153c Condenser Mic

Bright and crisp is what I wanted for Hi-Hat. That's exactly what I got. I REALLY do like an effective high pass filter (low cut) on all microphones for cymbals, but there isn't one! (Yeah, I know : cut it at the sound desk, but then there still isn't enough cut and it only cuts the sub). A 500Hz 12dB cut would be more useful at the microphone itself. It is a really tiny microphone that can be placed in among the kit. The only other thing is the non-metallic body, but that is possibly an advantage if it hits or gets hit by a cymbal!
