They don't really work...

As with any AOT Blacksmith string I've tried (el.guitar, ac.guitar, bass) these strings, compared to Elixirs, sound darker and older, but here's the biggest drawback:

they do last more than regular strings, AS LONG AS you don't sweat, I bought several sets of strings for my studio instruments and everything went well until I had a client with sweaty hands, all Blacksmith strings died within minutes, the plain strings feeling rough and the wound strings feeling floppy and sounding totally dead.

Would not recommend.
