The OG Chorus you will ever need

What else to say on this pedal... Boss Chorus are legendary and this will bring you all classic sounds of their vintage units in a pedal with the Waza Craft touch that is just perfect. A must have!

Sold my boss super chorus ch-1 for this boss chorus ce-2w because the ch-1 has too many options and the ce-2w is simpler. It always made me be insecure about the chorus eq!

Quality, robust pedal

This is a solid choice for chorus pedal. There might be better, but this is a solid choice at a good price point.

Best chorus

I really like it. You can get that old grunge sound. Very versatile with 3 modes it has. Top quality. Always in my pedalboard.

Perfect

My go to chorus is so versatile!

Sublime!!

This is quite simply, a superb pedal. Warm, vintage chorus tones without sounding too thin and 80s. Can range from a subtle modulation to quite deep, chewy, warble-y goodness. This will never leave my board.

If you love Metallica, trust me: This is what you're looking for!

The most beautiful bright analog chorus sound. This is the pedal that will get you that Roland JC120 / Boss CE-1 chorus sound that we all know and love from James Hetfield's clean sound, including the intros for Fade to black, Sanitarium, and One, and the bridge of Master of puppets. I plugged it in, had no problem finding the right setting for the nobs (depth at noticible but not in your face, around 10 or 11 o'clock, and just mess around a bit with the rate somewhere between not too slow and not too fast, it all sounds good) and it instantly sounds like that perfect clean Metallica sound. Choruses have a tendency to make everything blurry. This one just make it bigger, more interesting, and brighter, while still being clear and pronounced. It's awesome!

Outstanding

I use this pedal with electric guitar, bass, synths and other machines. When researching about the best chorus pedals in existence, i of course had heard about the mythical BOSS CE-1 Chorus Ensemble. Eventually i even used an original one in a studio... Fast forward to Summer 2019 - i order my beautiful Boss CE-2w - There it was - the magical sound i heard in countless records!

Pros: Indestructible, handcrafted in Japan classic pedal

Cons: None

lives up to the hype!

the jazz chorus circuit makes this pedal worth the price, it sounds amazing when hooked up to 2 different amplifiers using the stereo outputs

it’s a chorus sound that sounds great with acoustic or clean guitar or bass but doesn’t handle distortion so well, if that is what you’re looking for

Great Chouse Uni-Vibe Style pedal

This pedal is the true replica of the legendary CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the world's first Chorus pedal introduced back in 1976.

Just 3 years later Boss introduced the CE-2 Chorus pedal,

The CE-2w comes with a 3 way switch allowing you to select 3 different Chorus modes:

l) Standard mode - offers the exact replica sound of the CE-2

Il) CE-1 mode

III) delivers chorus and vibrato, very similar to the Uni-Vibe

(US and Them from Dark Side of the Moon)

It's a super pedal you can't miss

Best chorus sound I own

Simply the best chorus pedal I can think of. Simple, built like a tank (in Japan) and just otherworldly good sounding. I can't think of anything else to say about this beauty. I'm writing this review one year after having bought the pedal and I'm still in the honeymoon phase :) I wish to be buried with it one day

Fantastic Boss chorus reissue and more

First, I don' t have direct comparison with original CE2 and CE1, so I didn't compared either of three modes (CE2, CE1 and CE1 vibrato) with original pedals.

However, all three modes have it's character and work excellent both in mono and stereo. Zero noise, low power consumption and wide range of possible sounds. One of my favorite magical Waza pedals including VB2, DM2 and DC2;-)

Features and sound 4 of 5 because of lack of expression pedal feature/input (would be great to be able to control rate). Otherwise perfect pedal for very competitive price and I would recommend and buy it again if stolen.

Very classy chorus sound

I've never owned a chorus pedal, if anything I played through old multi fx units. I decided to pull the plug on the CE-2W as I really enjoy a nice lush chorus sound nowadays.

I use it on my guitar rig and the tones I'm getting are absolutely beautiful. Very lush, warm and defined. It's almost always on in my pedalboard. The Ce-2 mode is quite subtle and unintrusive, whereas the ce-1 is super lush. The vibrato is also a nice addition. Highly recommended.

If you want an incredible chorus sound look no further.

Chorus lover, look no further.

This pedal should be a cult just as much as the CE1 is, it has all of its grandpa loveliness but in a compact box and without clipping. Great build in pure Boss fashion, three modes (CE1 being my favorite) and the color is lovely.

Boss CE-2wow!!!!!

I love this one very much, very organic sounds, three modes with great sounds so nice versatilty, nice 'touch' due to analog circuit, and the stereo on my two Rivera amps it's....it's.... (no words to say lol)

Careful; if you jack the two outputs, you will have to use the two outputs cause the pedal reacts in a different way. I wanted to put the stereo cables of the BCB and use 1or2 output of the BCB

but it doesn't work properly.

Great replica/improvement

Great little pedal. Replicates the chorus sound of the original ce1 &2 perfectly (or close enough that most wont know the difference). Anyone playing 80s style songs needs one of these! The three modes offer good variety of sounds. I have run it in stereo mode with good results-it runs wet from one output and dry from the other. Very happy with the purchase. I use it for guitar only.
