Boss DM-2W Delay Reviews

everything you would want from an analog delay

the sound is insane, it's super easy to figure out, and both channels offer two lovely different characters but honestly i would've been more than happy to work with the standard mode. if you're precisely looking for an old school no beating around the bush analog delay that is the one

BEst Analog Delay

Just buy it and listen for yourself. Its the best Analog delay pedal you could get. amazing. The waza craft series goes above and beyond

Great pedal

For sure that this is one of the best delay pedals I've tried.

Amazing product for the money

Great sounding pedal, Excellent product from the best.

One of the greatest Boss pedals out there

Excellent pedal, easy to use and well built. The sound is top notch.

Top Top Top

A truly great addition to my new pedal board

A great update on a classic delay pedal

I've had the original pedal before, and though simple, they just sound great!

This does also, but gives extended delay times, and it is nice having a new and well built pedal, and not worrying about an old unit that may fail

Pros: a great pedal, small format, well built and fantastic sound quality

Cons: obviously more expensive, but IMO well worth it. Does not have tap tempo or lots of options, but what it does, it does very well indeed!

The best (and simplest) delay of all time

It does just what you are thinking. It's a simple delay with three controls and a selector to choose between a delay and a echo.

It's great to give your sound that old fashioned sound and to play strange acid rock licks by throttling the rate knob while playing (try it!)

Cheers

Excellent analog delay

Excellent simple analog delay for reasonable money. Up to 800ms delay time in C-mode, RATE knob can be operated remotely with expression pedal.

4 of 5 stars for sound, mine has oscillation hiss in S-mode between minimum and 9-00 o'clock rate C-mode is spotless.

For blues harmonica: too expensive for no obvious benefit

It has a nice sound but in my view it does not pay back the investment. The electricity remains in the pedal even when it is switched off - you have to remove the plug to really disconnect it - so do not expect a true bypass, the sound is still affected even when the pedal is off. Very strange indeed and not something you would expect from a product of this price. ("Waza", what on earth is waza and why use it in connection with a simple effect pedal??)

great pedal!

excellent pedal has long been looking for her. completely satisfied with the sound, what was needed,

Brings Back Good Memories

Used to play with the original DM-2 back in 1983.

This DM-2W Waza pedal brings back good memories and adds longer delay times.

Killer Sound and Great Slapping. Prefer it over any digital delay pedal or 19" delay unit I have.

Just Love the Boss Waza line and the on the wishlist is DC-2W and BD-2W and Vibrato Waza.

Boss DM-2W Delay has nice warm sound, best delay I ve ever had

Got this as my first analog delay pedal and instantly fell in love with it, the sound is thick and warm and it never clouds up the performance even with the level turned up all the way. Initially I purchased this delay unit as another flavor delay in my arsenal, and it immediately became my primary delay of choice. Playing with the rate knob while playing is highly satisfying and presents a lot of new creative ways of using a delay. I can highly recommend this delay pedal to anyone!

Best analogue Delay pedal!!!

Boss technology is sometimes the reason that so many mucisians have insired and made good songs all these years. I have it in my Marshall JCM 900 Dual High Gain Reverb 100 Watt amp and it will be in this loop forever. Just try it!!!!

Pure analog delight

One of the best analog delays around. Instant beautiful tone with warm decay.

Probably my favorite delays pedal ever

Has both an old school type cheap as well as a more modern longer delay time option which sounds absolutely fantastic

The best for high gain solos..!!

Really nice pedal, after buying one for a 'Boss only' pedalboard, I was looking for another analog delay, after checking and testing other brands, I finally bought another DM-2w, with this pedal you immediately get this BIG solo sound, not too clean, not too dark..
