Glad I latched on to this

Good news! it still works even if your batteries run out, it’s just the light doesn’t come on ….recommended as a good buy, can’t complain it’s a great tool

A Quality Classic

If this isn't a classic, it should be. Bought one to use with one that I've had for years. They slide together perfectly, do the job very well.

I'm an organ player and use the Boss for rotary control. That means it receives some heavy stomping at times, but it just works... and works... and works.

The battery is for the diode only, the pedal works fine without it, should it ever run out (it hasn't for two years). And switching polarity is a breeze.

Nice touch that the diode only lights up if a plug is inserted, that way you don't have to worry about the battery draining inadvertently during transport

Geat addition

This is a great addition to a DS-2 etc. for added functionality. Great build quality but even sturdier versions can be made much cheaper if you are anyway handy with a soldering iron and drill.

Simple but Reliable

There isn't much to say about such a Keyboard foot switch but this Boss item really does it job, is reliable and doesn't generate humms not crackles.

It does a perfect job and is a quality switch.

"Subwoofer switch"

I use this as a "switch" to my subwoofer, a KRK 10S. It works perfect for its purpose, without any noise or disturbance (which I was a bit worried about) when you shift mode on/off. A small red LED lights up when you have it either on or off, which can be set with yet another small switch on the rear. Perfect if you want to save battery, depending on which mode you are planning to have it in for the most part. Being able to turn off the subwoofer in the studio quickly and easily make a real difference when adjusting in the lower registers. Recommendable...
