Boss FS-6 Reviews
very adaptable
Can operate with any amp at all, switchable latching or not, switchable press or release Never slipped its floor positio yet. By the look and feel of this thing, it is almost indestructible. A little expensive, but should last forever. A best buy, I love it.
Staat leuk op m'n pedalboard
Tof hulpmiddel om drummachine Boss te bedienen, was op zoek naar 2de pedaal (A en B)maar dit compacte ding met 2 in een had dan toch de voorkeur, aanrader!!
Perfect for katana
It's the best way to handle the Katana amp effects.
I use it in studio
Best quality, does the job, non destructible
multiple ways of connection, extremely robust. a bit overpriced tho compared to other alternatives on the market, still very sturdy and would survive any number of gigs.
Usual boss high quality, but expensive for a switch
Great tool
This is sturdy enough. It works with my Katana 50 and I can switch memory banks.
I am a bit torn on this one - It is a really nice built unit, with a lot of options but I just don't understand why it needs the battery to operate. The battery is not just for the led - footswitch will not work if you do not give it juice. Since I needed a pedal for permanent installation with edrums, I just bought Rockboard Power Ace 9V Battery Plug to go with this, so I do not have to think about batteries inside.
The all mighty FS 6
Legendary double foot pedal! The price might seem a bit high but it's worth every penny! HIGHLY recommended!
Perfect for what I need
I use this on my pedalboard and it makes it so much easier to record, delete and overwrite tracks on my loop pedal. Very handy to have
Very Good Pedal
It's sturdy and fit for the road.
Tidy solution when two foot switches are needed.
Its just a little bit expensive when all it really is is two pedals stuck together.
My biggest issue though is the battery... I do not see why this is needed at all.
Good but limitted
Good foot switch but personally, I outgrew it after about 4 months. Just ended up being too limitted when controlling the rc505. Also, I feel as if the FS-7 may now make this foot pedal obsolete as it has a smaller footprint, does not require batteries and is cheaper. Still an excellent product for simplier looping if there is not a plug socket handy
Quality product
Boss FS-6 is quality product as I expected. My primary use is to control rhythm machine basic features, secondary to control guitar amp. FS-6 is good for both tasks.
Some features can be pre-programmed: see user's manual. My only concern is running battery empty during a gig but it has never happened :)
Requires battery!
This requires a battery, even though the FS-7 does not.
The FS-7 works both with wall power and with *no power at all*, while the FS-6 always requires a battery for operation. Seems like a poor design choice on Boss' part.
Quality with a minor flaw (for me)
I use it with my BOSS Katana 50. It is realy good quality, sturdy.
It is battery powered (no need to external power supply), which is comfortable for me at home. But there is no on/off switch, if you plug in the cable, it stays on,so you have to unplug every time you finished playig :(.
Footswitch
Rather expensive footswitch but with LED indication.
everything you would expect from a boss pedal
- sturdy metal casing
- features: polarity + latch/unlatch function
all great.
Great Expansion foot switch
Works as promised. I am using it with the Boss GT-1B and allows me to use it a a stomp box.
Pros: Sturdy design which is important for a foot switch
Cons: Expensive
No other switch I could find did the job.
I wanted a switch for the reverb - as a small band, we'd be mixing on stage and there's nothing more annoying than the reverb being on when you're talking to the punters.
Good heavyweight switch. Needs a battery of course.
Very responsive. It is for when you need additional switches
Not just two pedals in one but a freedom of possibilities
Not just two pedals, but full functionality for each of your synthesizers or groove-boxes. I use several such pedals related to my synthesizers because with this pedal I have the opportunity to simply use sustain, but also to latch the arpeggiators or step sequences in the same way, regardless of the brand and model of the synthesizers I use. This solves a lot of problems, especially when you play live.
Well designed and heavy-duty manufactured as well.
