Heavenly.

I ignore all the Internet junk, as this amp is loaded with its own superb guitar tones, way beyond my expectations, just the "clean" amp setting alone, with careful gain and volume tweeking, has superb blues lead guitar tones with sweet sensitive sound reactions to picking pressure and, or string bending, bend 2 strings together to watch audience heads turn to see/listen. This amp really blesses the sound of my humbucked semi solid, and I love it. I also have the 50 kat, which drove me to get this 100. Memory ? Its OK, but I'm happy with the smooth "clean" amp setting alone. Another great Boss amp.

Boss Katana is the best budget amp

Honestly, this is the best "budget" amp on the market.

It's easy to carry because it doesn't have 50kg, it's quite light.

You can connect it to a PC, set up your tone, all for free. Boss library is great.

Sound is definitely too metal. Cleans aren't that good, while other presets are great. Avoid if you're looking for clean amp.

Quality is 10/10. After. year of using it, no problems.

Awesome

Such an amazing amp, loads of power and sounds ,it's just awesome!

If you are looking for a great amp under 500 bucks, than look no further.Clean sounds arebeautifoul, distorted are simly awesome and the effects are outstanding. Also ,the amp is on its own ,loud enough for a small concert venue.Great for metal, acoustic, rock, jazz ,funk, you name it,it can do it.

11/10 would recommend.

the only issue i had ,is connecting to Boss tone studio, which does not seem to work for me.t says the isue is midi/audio connection.

Boss Katana 100/212 MKII

Upgraded to this from a MKI 50W and wht a huge difference this is a real monster! great new features fabulous sounds every day I find something new and my tones are constatntly improving. Always use with BTS (as is my preference) but played straight out of the box to test. I'm no professional just home hero and this does everything and more that I want (I think). Only downside for me is controls on top but I knew this when I bought it I just did not want to pay extra for the Artist model.
