Superb Amp

Best all round acoustic amp I've owned. The price is unbeatable. You will be impressed!!

Amazing piece of equipement

I have 2 of those and we use them for gigs in small places! absolutely mind blowing the result for 2 voices and 3 instruments (we use them as main out with a mixer)

Surprising little wonder

Bought to add to my rig to deliver the piezo sound from my Music Man Majesty.

The amp is small but delivers a good sound and has more punch than I expected.

Cannot comment on the sound with acoustic guitar but provides a great sound from the piezo system on the majesty.

Outstanding value for small gigs

A compact little powerhouse that is perfect for small gigs and coffee shop sessions. Highly portable, (many thanks to the reviewer who suggested a Stairville SB130 as a gig bag which fits it perfectly). Oh, and the whole lot only costs about as much as a reverb pedal!

The sound: Like other reviewers, I have used the treble EQ a fair way up to boost the highs, as I like my guitar to be bright and crisp. Took just a few minutes to settle into an EQ I like, but once there it’s very stable and matches my LR Baggs Anthem very well. There are a lot of effects settings, which can be easily overdone changing the sound too much, but just a little medium length reverb dialled in suits my style. The exception is a little slap-back delay when used with a hollowbody 335-lookalike, which is great for jazz, or even some light rockabilly. The phantom power is handy as I can use some condenser mics I already own, and a lapel condenser mic doubles as a resonator pickup on channel 2. A real bonus is the standard pole mount on the bottom – I’ve even used it as a little sound reinforcement PA for a softly spoken speaker in the town hall.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the splatter paint finish, but it looks pretty durable and easier to live with than the inevitable grazes and scratches you’d get on flat black. Kicked back on its stand, it looks classy and acts as a nice monitor if the output is fed to a desk.

Would I have liked a nice oak – finish Compact amp by that other manufacturer? Sure, but I don’t have a spare 900 euros. Would I be able to hear the difference? Possibly. Would my audience notice the difference? Not a chance.

Good, but who knows for how long.

Sound good with acoustic guitar, gypsy guitar with shatten pickup, acustix violin, even my jazz box.

Compared it with an aer compact ( dont remembrement exact model) sound almost the same, not better or worse, just slitly different.

Good for singer song writter.

Took with me 3 weeks on tour. Still working, but feels cheap. That kind of gear you know it will fail, but don't know when. Still impressed it survive the tour tho.

Wonderful amp. It really captures the natural tone of an acoustic guitar. The tone absolutely amazing. I am very happy with the sound and all the sound possibilities. Highly recommend.

Excelent and veristile for its price.

I have used it for two years now with both acoustic and electric guitars and I am very pleased with it.

It gives a nice clear sound with capability to stand very good in small and medium size rooms for gigs.

Also nice with pedals on electric guitars.

The quality is nothing much but it has good and sturdy plastic parts that seems to withstand preety good for the time I have it.

All in all a good buy. For sure it is worth it and the price of it is just perfect.

Excellent

Son très naturel, chaud avec beaucoup de basses, parfait pour ma mandoline et mon bouzouki irlandais, je le conseille sans restriction

I use the Bugera AC60 for live concerts and for studio recordings with my Moov Travel Classic guitar and Martin J40 (with Fishman). My playing is based on classical guitar technique using long nails. It is a really nice match and I am very happy with the sound and all the sound possibilities. Very simple to adjust, too. I can strongly recommend the Bugera AC60.

One of the most value for money

Very nice sound and really resistant to high intensity.

First use and impressions very good

Took it out of the box, tried it out and then used it at a small wedding for 2x1 hour sessions with guitar and vocals, outside in a largish courtyard. It was loud enough and the sound was more than acceptable. Brilliant for the money. I have bought a 2 to 1 mic lead so we can use 2 mics and the guitar. Seems to work fine. The reverb works well. Hope it holds up with further use and abuse!

You just can't get any better. I play a nylon acoustic guitar in a traditional portuguese music band. The tone that I can get with this amp is absolutely amazing. It really captures the natural tone of an acoustic guitar. This is a pretty loud amp also that can without any issue fill up a medium-size room. Besides that, you can connect it to a PA if needed and use it as a monitor.

This is by far the best buy I've made.

Amazing value for money amplifier

Great alternative to the classic AER Compact 60. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the sound using bouzouki (my main instrument) within minutes after I plugged in for first time use white guitar sounded equally great. Overall exceptional sound and build quality with plenty of functionality. A great buy.

Brilliant amp

Words fail me. This is just super value. Wonderful amp that has so much to commend it to acoustic players. I haven’t used the microphone Input yet and I probably won’t but that’s no matter - the quality of the sound on all my acoustic guitars is just great. Highly recommend.

Use:

Wanted to use it for super small gigs, but sound quality doesnt satisfy enough, so became practise amp with looper and effects for acoustic guitar and to have fun with friends at home

For the half price of fishman loudbox it's good.

But it is really boxy, when I use k&k mini with fishman stage platinium preamp I need to work it out to make it sound good and use microphone input, with lr baggs element its almost good.

Forget aux input... Its not made to listen music, okay for backing, but not for listening music.

Fantastic amp!!!

This little 60watt amp can blow you away with its sound and wquality. It has a lot of nice effects that will make your playing as you want it to sound. I think at this price point it is hard to be beaten. The Tomann team is perfect too. Just go for it! :)

Bugera AC60 amp.

I bought this amp to play my gypsy Jazz F Hole acoustic guitar and my Loar archtop through in small intimate venues.

I bought this amp on the recommendations of professional musicians own have used them.

I have nothing to compare it to but I am 100% happy with it, both guitars played through and sound really clear, it is easy to use really light and portable to move around.

At first glance it seems like an exact copy of a AER amp and certainly appears to be modelled on one. I can only give my opinion on it so far, but it has really impressed me on the clarity of sound from the amp.

If you are looking for a great sounding, lightweight portable amp to play in a small venue I would thoroughly recommend getting one you wont be disappointed.
