Bugera V5 Infinium 5-stars Reviews
Perfect tube amp for at home
This amp is small in size, while having all essential functions, incl. a great reverb. It produces a proper warm and full tube sound, albeit it at 5W, of course. The 5W makes this amp suitable for use at home. It has a headphones input but using this will lose you the warm tube sound, however. The outer material of the amp is not so sturdy, it damages relatively easily, so not for touring or moving around too much!
Great little amp!
Great little amp, authentic tube sound and very easy to use. Pros- Easy transport, All tube design, Turbo sound speaker, Cons- Can be too dark sounding for some genres, missing some high end power and clarity.
what a blast
i love the looks and the sound, it is louuud!
Sparkle, bright sound
I use it with my strat and it can really sing, the only thing is that the amp must get very loud -for bedroom use- to achieve overdrive so you should consider buying a good overdrive pedal - i have a catalinbread rah which really does the job.
I can't which any thing more
If this amp is also available with some more power it is absolutely perfect
Bugera V5 Infinium
great little valve amp doesn't take up a lot of space .Loud enough at the 1Watt setting very loud at5..Works fine with pedals and I like the sound
Great valve amp
Cant fault it especially at the price...love the flexible power settings...useful in a flat or with sensitive neighbours.
Bugera
Fantastic little Amp. Great Tones.
Great sounding little amp
Over 3 years in constant use,, live use and home .No problems at all., (I use it for over-driven blues harmonica and electric guitar), both sound great. Versatile little amp, with that vintage warm tube sound . Fully recommended, I can't fault it.
Excellent value for money
I have been using, both in the studio and at home, and also owning valve amps for more than 4 decades (most major brands and models).
I wanted a tube amp who would not hurt my ears any more to play late at night at home. I bought the bugera due to the included attenuator which works perfectly.
I was blown away by the excellent sounds this little amp delivered, right out of the box. If you use the 1 watt setting, you have a full and completely musical vintage tube sound, at conversation levels, a sound who makes you want to play again and again.
Highly recommended.
Pros: build quality, features, feel, sounds
Cons: nothing important
Gorgeous treat
A friend of mine, who now lives in another country, has been nagging me to get one of these for years, and I’m really glad I’ve taken his advice
The tone it produces is a luxurious treat, and the power attenuator allows you to enjoy it without alienating the neighbourhood
ALL TUBE / ALL AMAZING /POCKET ROCKET
I?m not usually one to comment online. That being said I just bought this amp . After many years playing on a variety of amps ,my first a Peavey Rage 108 going up to a Marshall JCM 900 stack. Now days its more hobby . I have a Fender Frontman 25 R which rocks for what it is. But misses that unique valve sound. So I researched. And for home use there?s several options after many youtube videos I decided that the best bang for buck was the Bugera (the marshall / Fender equivalent were twice, thrice the price???)
SO.......... The Bugera V5 is a BEAST .It has that solid tube sound that also works with pedals . I use a limiter to boost when soloing etc. Its louder than the Fender I have and that sweet tube sound never fails.
Pros - Its small but powerful
Has a beautiful simple tube sound.
Perfect to rock out at home.
Can use for small concerts ( loud speaker output)
Cons- The headphone output isn?t the best quality.
All that being said.....
5 stars all round for the perfect in house amp!!!!!
And the price is a steal , I?d pay more honestly.
There's not a better tube amp for the money.
First off is that I'll say I love the vintage look and feel, it's a pleasure to have in your home and interact with. I prefer the simpler approach to inputs and thus I prefer it this way, you might prefer more control over midranges and what not. The headphone port is great for practicing loud while playing softly, if you live in an apartment block I wouln't over look this feature. The sound is very good for me, but it may be more warm that you might expect if coming from digital, just a warning. The reverb is good too. Overall this is great blues and rock amp that is crying out for a few simplistic pedals to compress and overdrive it. I personally have no need or desire to buy another amp for my home setting.
I just love this thing
Best value for money ever.
Good, budget friendly and ideal for home use.
Very straightforward amp for home use and takes pedals pretty well; however can get a little noisy.
I am a home player and was looking to get my first tube amp - hopefully more companies are going to start making low-watt, budget amps for home players.
Overall, really pleased!
I got this as an alternative to my Boss Katana, in part because I've had a few valve amps over the years and have always liked how they respond to a little dirt. It's a very, very well-made amp, and there are no complaints at all in the construction or the fit/finish. Tonaly, it's very dark (as others have noted), but nothing a boost or EQ pedal can't sort. The reverb is great on lower levels, but washes out the sound too much at higher levels. The attenuator is a brilliant addition, and I find that it's really useful for driving the amp/valves harder at the 0.5W setting.
Overall, a great purchase and I certainly would consider Bugera in the future.
Good entry-level tube amp for home use
Home use amp. Bought it after seeing a demo on the intheblues Youtube channel.
Pros: 0,1 watt setting, acceptable reverb, takes pedals very well.
Cons: a bit heavy, not very pleasant when cranked up
Best settings used so far:
Gain - 3
Volume - 6
Tone - 7
Reverb - 4
Sweet tube amp for blues and rock n' roll in general.
Just a good amplifier
Love at first sight.
Paired with my Epiphone Casino gives a cool sound. The sound is very warm, soft, flexible, bewitching.
This is a very friendly amplifier. production of excellent quality. precise control. Handles rotate very gently and smoothly. The ability to choose the power gives ample opportunity to tune the sound for the moment and mood. Special thanks to the manufacturer for reverb. The headphone function is simply an irreplaceable thing.
I hope our love will be mutual and we will give the heat !!
Perfect
I love this amp! The sound is pleasant and warm. It does not have a lot of overdrive, but still enough for blues/rock guitar style. Takes pedals really well. I was able to crank it up nicely and get more overdrive with a boost pedal. Also, souds great with BOSS SD-1.
I use it at home as a practice amp. You may have it on 1 watt setting and get a nice breakup without waking up your neighbours. I found that 1 watt is the best for me (I live in appartment).
The 0.1 watt is there if you want it really quiet, but it makes the sound a little more muddy. At 5 watt setting you may use it in a small basement gig situation without any problems.
I am so happy with this amp. At this price it is a real bargain.
Great Amp, Great Price
Best amp for this price. I like it very much. Only 5w settings are usable for me, others sound bad to my ears. Im not professional, but I love the sound. It is what I wanted
