I have been playing guitar for some time and bought it online as my first uke, to be honest did not know what to expect but I can say it is a really good crafted instrument for the price. Sounds great, playability is good (a small adjustment on the nut would even make it better) out of the box and intonation is spot on all the way up the fretboard. It is missing cosmetic bells and whistles but that is to be expected and not that important for the price range. After buying this uke I had the opportunity to try some others and I am not an experienced player but I can heartfully say that it out performs some other much expensive ukes. I can recommend this to anyone who thinks of starting playing and does not want to spend a lot of money and still wants to get a decent sounding instrument.

I'm very happy with this ukulele. Amazing quality (made in china), great intonation (octaves played on the same strings tune well), very nice sound (solid cedar top gives a balanced and loud sound) and a solid bag. Extra hole on the top of the ukulele gives sound near a player's ears, which for me is a great idea. Only the frets are not perfectly polished but well enough - it don't hurts me. Ukulele packed in a good quality bag and thick cardboard. Back has a great shape. Tuners work very well. This ukulele In my opinion is the best concert ukulele up to 200 euro.

Looks good, sounds good plugged in as well as unplugged and even feels good to play. No complaints here at all... Well one extremely minor one. I wish it came with a cloth bag or something to carry it about a bit more securely than the dust cover it came in. That is the only gripe I have with this product. That said, I love this ukulele and have not stopped playing it since it arrived on my doorstep! I've gigged with it as well and it's been a relief to sound techs as it's up and running with a guitar lead. I've even messed with effects pedals with it. It makes for some surprisingly cute rock songs when using distortion!

I hadn't played a ukulele since I was a kid and loved it back then. I just had a milestone birthday and my family knew that I'd like another instrument so they gave me some money and asked me to choose something. I looked at concert ukuleles all over the internet but there was nothing else that came close to the spec of this one at that sort of price. It arrived today and right out of the box my first impressions are really good. The internation is almost spot on and the action very good indeed. No need to make any adjustments at all. It has a nice sustain and plays very well indeed. I already have a Harley Benton guitar that I'm very pleased with so I was expecting a half decent instrument, but on first impressions it has exceeded all my expectations. Don't be put off by the flower...

I started with a cheap 20,- euro Fazley just to see whether I'd enjoy playing the ukulele. Well, I did and pretty soon I realised I had to invest in an instrument that wouldn't de-tune every 5 minutes and didn't sound like it was being tortured, no matter how clearly I played the chords. As I'm planning to perform acoustically with the new one, I wanted it to look great - and it does!! The glitter doesn't disappoint. The sound however is what brings me a smile every single day; it's crisp, full yet gentle, doesn't de-tune often (after breaking in)... It's just a very lovely play. The knob for the strap is also a huge plus. Thoroughly recommend for someone wanting to step up from the super-beginner cheapo uke.

I bought this as a gift for someone who had never touched an uke before. I must say even in their still inexperienced hands it sounds great. It has a warm sound and is surprisingly loud. The only weak point are the tuning pegs, while I don’t mind them being open tuners because of the weight reduction, I hate that they cheaped out on the pegs and made them out of plastic. Probably not a big deal for most, but I would have preferred better quality ones. Overall though, I’d say it’s a great instrument for anybody that wants a good uke without breaking the bank.

Kala LTP-C-EBH Elvis Starter

I already had a very similar KALA-LTP-MH model from Kala's "Learn to Play Series", the Mandy Harvey Signature Tenor, which is the first ukelele I ever bought. I still really like it, even though some time ago I upgraded to a more high-end model as I became a more serious uke player. Recently I was thinking of getting a concert size uke to just run around with, for playing in the park with my friends and so on; when I saw this "Elvis Blue Hawaii" version, there was no doubt in my mind that it filled the bill, and it did! Its one drawback, in my opinion, since this model is supposed to be part of a "starter kit", is the lack of a gig bag. Just remember that if you don't already have a concert-sized gig bag, you'll need to order one along with the...

Luna Guitars Ukulele Concert Tattoo

These Luna ukuleles seem to be one of the best deals in the ukulele world. This Concert Tattoo model is crafted beautifully, with a very nice tribal design burned into the wood. The string tension is quite high, which results in good projection, but it took me some time to get used to it, maybe because I'm used to soprano ukuleles. Nevertheless, it sounds nice. The intonation is not perfect, though. I think the string action could be a bit lower, which would help the intonation issues. For chord playing I don't find it problematic, but when playing arpeggios and harp-like stuff it becomes apparent. It's still better than every budget uke I played, but still not what I'd consider fit for studio applications.
