Save your back

Got that stupidly heavy combo amp? Switch to a neo. You ears won't feel the difference. Your back will.

Didn't live up to my expectations.

The speaker is very light. Compared to the V30, it does indeed have a slightly softer treble. But personally, I do not have enough low frequencies. Maybe that's why the sound seemed flat.

Holly $&@^%&$*@&^%$^&!!

I own a classic Creamback 75W that I absolutely love, spanky bass, aggressive, yet defined mids, creamy-yet-clear highs, but I found it can sometimes soften high-gain rhythm guitar riffs, so after research I decided to go for the NEO and man, NEO is indeed the one (sorry, I had to).

It's still got the characteristics of a classic Creamback, but with extra projection around 2kHz (which is perfect for recording any genre and cutting through), it's even faster/spankier and it's got an extended (yet not irritating Vintage30-style) top end, that captures the pick and string noise if needed!

I use both my Cream 75W and Neo Cream in a handmade 2x12 ADA-spec cab in the studio and with those two I can record anything.

I don't think I'll be researching speakers for many many years!

Fantastic and lightweight speaker!

I tried a number of different speakers in my Deluxe Reverb (C12K, C12Q, WGS G12Q) and while all of them were good, each one of them had something missing, or too much of. While Fender DR & Celestion is not a usual combination, I wanted to give it a shot since anyway I play an unusual setup (fuzz face, treble booster or Lovepedal HPTT into a DR). This speaker really put my sound exactly where I want it to be without being nasal or too muddy. A perfect blend of compression and presence for my setup!
