Good value

Good value for money. Retain brightness and high end response pretty well. Highly recommend.

They are guitar strings

and they sound great.

My favourites

I use these on my grand auditorium acoustic and they are perfect, last a good amount of time for the price and sound consistent. Very rarely break.

Reliable, consistent quality

I use these strings on both of my dreadnought guitars as they always deliver the sound i expect. Really good value in the multipacks and I appreciate the reduced packaging. I mostly play Americana style music, blues, blues, country in acoustic settings.

They don't last forever (like any strings) but my ears grew tired of the coated varieties and I don't mind changing strings anyway. Recommended from me and they're the choice of many of my heroes.

Great sound fot two gigs...

I have been using them for one of my two guitars. Its sound it really full/powerful in all sound ranges, it will satisfy any musician. Also great for D tuning. The only con is they wear out after two gigs/two weeks, which would probably happen to any uncoated strings. However, I am still a fan of these over the years.

Best I've found

I started using these strings because my older brother used them. When I became more proficient and looking for different things I started experimenting with other strings, cheaper brands and more expensive brands like elixers, but after a lot of experimenting I came back to these and wouldn't change. They sound great, rarely break, and last very long, they sound great after weeks.

I used to play gigs regularly and these strings could last about a month of regular gigging. I don't play live as much now so the strings last much longer and still sound bright. The colour coded ends make string changes easy also.

Quality strings for a competitive price

D'addario strings seem to be the preference of guitar makers and Irish traditional players and I can see why. The phosphor bronze medium gauge sit nicely on my acoustic guitars and seem to last for more than a month despite heavy playing at Irish bars

Wonderful tone

The tone of these strings is full, warm almost from the very beginning - some days of playing and it is broken in. I use these to a Martin DM guitar and it produces a most natural, balanced sound. They last quite long to be bronze strings as well. I've tried the same series with the .11 thickness, and it is a totally different experience. These strings suits my guitar much better (playing acoustic pop, mostly).

The best

I've tried a few different guitar strings over the years but these feel like coming home - I've been using them for nearly 20 years and always regret it when I try something different. Initially bright, mellowing slightly but keeping a good volume and with a decent lifespan until the brightness goes. I'd highly recommend these strings. When I put them on my Taylor recently (replacing some lighter gauge strings from another manufacturer) it was like my guitar came back to life.
