Amazing strings

Unbeatable price/quality. Great sound, tension and intonation.

Highly recommended with semi and full hollowbody guitars.

Love this sound

I use these strings on my Fender Modern Player Thinline Telecaster with P90s and not only do they play well (strings do not become wet spaghetti in superlow tunings), they also sound massive and full but still clear and brilliant.

Please note: My tuning is AEADEA (DADGAD-scheme, but lowered by 2,5 tones) and I play over a bass amp.

10/10 would recommend and buy again.

Favorite Strings for the past 10 years

Jazz Lights are hands-down my favorite strings. I strum very hard and generally play down-tunings, so the thicker gauge along with the Wound G make my life so much easier as it helps keep my guitar in tune SO much easier than the lighter gauge strings that I used to use. Great tone and long life.

Good strings!

Do what they are expected to. I use on a Jazz-guitar, playing rhythm guitar (pop / rock).

I like them

Big improvement coming from the stock strings that were on my classic vibe strat.

Good quality, good value.

I use these on a Gibson 175 and the gauge is pretty much perfect for me on this instrument. I've used D'addario strings on quite a few other instruments and always found them dependable. In this case I particularly like the balance of the lower strings - in some other sets of this gauge the D and A strings can be a little light, relatively speaking. With these, there's no such issue.

These are of course a little brighter than pure nickel strings, but that's not a bad thing. When you first put them on, to my ears they are a little over bright but very quickly settle down as the string plays in. They don't seem to go dull as quickly as pure nickel strings either. With good care and cleaning after each session these strings are very durable and keep their intonation for a long time.

Sealed packaging is good, which allows you to buy in bulk and receive a discount. Even without this, these are attractively priced strings, and the quality is dependable, something that can't always be said for some other well known brands.

Daddario EJ21 Guitar Strings

I use these on my acoustic guitar because I have a Magnetic pickup on the soundhole and I also have a Synth pickup which is 6 seperate mags as such. These strings work very well with these pickups and they have a great acoustic sound as well , lovely and bright and I get a good long life out of them to. Very happy with them. T
