Great for fingerpicking

I put this on my Cort dreadnought because I only use it for fingerpicking. The strings are of a great quality and they sound good for months. They still sound warm even it's only 0.11 on the E string.

Quite good acoustic strings

I tried alot of different string sets for my acoustic guitar:

Elixir, Dunlop, Rotosound, other Daddario sets.

Actually I'm not satisfied with this set also, but this is one of those sets I get back to, because I didn't found anything better. At the moment I use it on my Yamaha FG830. Fits pretty good, yet there's lack of something in tone, like it is not that rich. Still I didn't found anything better, so right now

I'll stick to Daddario EJ26.

I never broke strings on my guitar, though I play in different styles, and this string set is not an exception. Also long lasting doesn't matter for me, I play quite often and change strings every month, regardless capabilities of strings. Also don't forget about issue of new strings to sound too metallic, it wears after couple of hours.

Get this strings if you need light blues and jazz sound,

or you're singing and playing some acoustic songs.

Decent

They do the job. Just decent strings from a big and trustable name. I use them for a western from Canada (Art & Lutherie). Somehow they have a rusty feel though, but maybe I should have ordered a bit lighter set.

Good.

B-string broke on the second use and had to be replaced. Although I didn't find these durable, the sound was good. Great value for money. Handy to have at home for spares.

Decent Strings

A set of decent strings, never had any of these break on me whilst I have been playing and so the quality of this product is reasonably good. They sound pretty good for the price when you put them on, but loose their brightness pretty quickly to my ears. Whilst they're not expected to last quite as long as some elixir strings (or other coated string for that matter), they faded faster than I would have liked compared too some other brands of non coated strings. In my opinion, these strings are adequate for practice, a live show or two and rough recordings.

Nice sounding strings

These strings sound very nice on my Loar parlour size guitar. Bright but not thin sounding. These strings seem to stay sounding great for a long time and they feel nice under my fingers.

Review of Daddario EJ26 strings

On testing these out a while ago I thought they are good standard string for the steel strung acoustic. These sound fine to me, they sound bright and clear but you don't hear that tinnyness you seem to get of cheaper stings. These are the mid price range strings that you will see in every guitar shop in the world probably so yes I'd buy them again they are easy to find and do the job just fine.
