Not the right gauge for me

D'Addario strings are awesome. Like their other ones I've used, these sound and feel great and last a long time. This gauge was not right for me in E standard though, so I use them for Eb standard now.

Nice strings

Practically, these strings can give your 24,75 guitar the feel of a 25,5 guitar with 10's. If you like Daddarios, these are pretty much what you expect.

best strings for les paul standard

I love this all the XL strings sound wise, but noticed that when I used lighter gauge strings on my les paul, I ran into tuning problems specially the g string. The 10,5 gauge solves that problem and allows me to bend strings effortlessly.

Nice tension

Nice extra tension and loudness for strat style guitar. Not best for bending, unless your fingers have six-packs.

Exactly what you'd expect

D'addario 10s, but a bit more. Sound great, play great, colour-coding is a no-brainer that other companies really should do. I prefer the balanced tension sets, but these are fine.

perfect balance between 10's and 11's

I have played 11's for around 10 years, great tone, but can be hard on the hands, bending strings etc, so I decided to change down to 10's. They improved play-ability tremendously , but there was something just lacking tone wise and also the feel. I I found these 10.5's and they are just perfect. !! I have always used D'addario, they never fail in quality. cannot recommend these stings enough if you looking for the feel of 11's with some extra play-ability.

A must have for the finicky player

Not quite 10 but also not quite 11. If you're the little bear in the family and prefer everything just right then these are that. Good quality with Nice bright tones, the extra heaviness allows you to strike a little harder on stage while maintaining fluidity on the highs.
