Satisfied

I've been using these strings with all my guitars for many years and despite the fact I?m using different sets now I still loving them. Sometimes I want to try them again to enjoy pure nickel sound of these strings. And to be honest I haven't got anything bad to say about EXL110 except the fact they have good tone but not long life? Except of that I had no issues with breaking string or poor quality.

My favorite strings

I think that relation quality price for these strings is a very good one.

my favourite strings

Pretty simple and bright strings that sound good in the 90% of genra you can image of playing on electric guitar.

They surprise me each and every time I put a new set on.

If you have a strato, try to drop them an half tone, they can be amazing.

A new set lasts 1 month and it begins to loose the brightess after 3 weeks minimum if you treat it correctly and play it for 1/2 hours a day, try using the fast fret if you have sweaty hands and you want to extend their life.

Love these strings

I have been using the EXL140s for a while now, but have decided to finally restring my strat, which I use 10-46 on, with D'addarios.

Previously I have used Ernie Ball and Rotosound strings, and have chosen these due to the how my 140s always compare to the other brands.

excellent string

I used al kinds of brands, but keep coming back to these ones. They don't get dirty that fast, and feel "alive". My slinky's always feel a bit...ehhmm duller.

Excellent Strings

I have used Ernie Ball strings for many years, but thought I would try something different. After buying one set, I changed the strings on all of my guitars to Daddarios and will use this brand from now on.

One of the best

I've been using these strings on my backup guitars and I usually change them every month, when they start to go dull and lose tone and clarity.

Compared to NYXL (their bigger and more expensive brother), these aren't as good but are not far away either - they are sparkly and nice to the touch, they don't dig into your fingers in a painful manner, it's comfortable to play and slide your fingers on them.

I recommend them if you can't/don't want to pay for more expensive strings!

Quality Sound

Always loved the Nickel sound of this set. Bright tones and very clear tonality. Good for almost everything from Blues/Jazz to Rock.

My favourite strings

I've being using them since late 90s.

they are reliable, they last and you can stretch them easily.

Affordable strings with good quality

As long as you will change strings correct way and give them good stretch it will hold tune pretty good. On cheap Squier Strat I was able to stay in tune even with some huge dive bombs. After a day there will maybe just small change in pitch like 2 cents on one string but that's just normal. With no tremolo it should be even better.

Sound is decent. I didn't really can compare to anything since i stayed for so long with d'addarios. I just buyed some ernie balls but that's for future testing.

EXL were pretty durable for me. Even with some insane tremolo use string didn't broke.

Light gauge is best in both worlds. Strings don't feel slacky and they are still good to make barre chords and bends with not so strong fingers.

Top Tone

I only use D'addarios and Ernie Balls - occasional Fender. I break far fewer strings since committing to these equally good brands. Great price for reliable tone.

Just excellent

I have used these strings for my guitars for several years and I haven't got anything bad to say about these strings. They are clear, good quality, and they deliver a very versatile sound to match different styles. This is an excellent choice for strings for any guitar. Build quality is consistent and sound is clear and accurate. I mainly play rock and blues. This set is a great choice for any guitar, at any play style. If you want more depth, go for more thickness. If you want even lighter playability (metal etc), go for less thickness. As simple as that. However, these are the best compromise of them all.

Great strings

I've played D'Addario strings for a while now and can definitely say that they are my favorites. They have a really nice and clear sound and feel way better than other strings I've tried.

Compared to the NYXL's these are really inexpensive, though not inferior, which is the reason why I would recommend them to anyone.

Really good!

It's very good sounding strings. Quite bright, and hard to brake them. A lot of guitarists choose this brand because of quality and stability - every series is the same and you have no problems with this strings.

The standard by others are measured

These are simply the best, most reliable string money can buy. They always hold tune, always last long enough, rarely break and sound good for the whole time. They are pretty much the industry standard.
