Daddario strings

Great strings I use on my Stratocaster! I buy the multi packs so I have plenty out on the road

Well worth it to have that many packs

the strings are fine quality, I made a decision to by this big pack to last me few years this saves me hassle to buy new pack each time. Box is compact nearly the size of the string pack, all good.

Best of quality vs price

My guitar luthier advised me to buy dadario strings for my electric guitar 15 years ago. Since then I've tryed all of them (ernie Ball, dunlop, GHS etc) and I always come back to dadario.

I play a lot of gigs in summertime when the air is moist and also your hands are sweaty. The strings last me at least 2-3 weeks or 5-6 gigs of heavy use.

Getting this 10 pack really makes your money worth. The best of sound quality vs price.

Fresh strings are fresh strings. Playing on old strings will hinder your learning progress and dirty rusty strings will damage your guitar neck. Change your strings guys. Get the 10 pack and dont look back :D

They just work

I've been using these strings for many years and for me they just work. They are nice and bright and last a long time. I have no issues with tuning stability or feel, generally I'm happy with them and I feel they are good value for money. My sweat is fairly corrosive as evidenced by the state of the my guitar hardware but the strings fare reasonably well, they are a consumable after all. The only issue I have had is that on a guitar with a Kahler trem they used to sometimes break at the balll end twist but now I just slip a small piece of heat shrink tube (previously I used to wrap them with cotton thread) after soldering over the twist and they are then fine. This is a common issue with this type of trem though and the solder trick is often used on 'tremolo' strings anyway. On other trem systems I don't have any issues. I use other gauges of D'Addario strings on baritone and bass guitars with similar, positive results. Definitely worth trying a set of these if you haven't already and if you do use them then it is worth considering buying a multipack like this for the attractive price per set. Also worth mentioning is the environmentally friendly packaging, rock on in a right on way, eh?

My go-to budget strings

After starting off with Ernie Balls, I decided to try these and have been loyal Daddario user ever since. Not that Ernie Balls are bad in any way, however Daddarios certainly have the edge, being a bit more durable and consistent in tone over time. The colour-coded ball-ends are also a plus to save any absent-minded mistakes when stringing up. The best strings in this price range.

Overall good strings

Don't have any problems with them. Also, I'm not a pro guitar player so that's that.
