Daddario EXL110BT 5-stars Reviews
Best guitar strings
I have experimented a variety of strings and from my experience these are the best for my style and usage. No need for more expensive. I'm now buying the biggest pack of these so I won't need more strings in a nearby future.
I have a Les Paul and a Stratocaster. On both, I use these strings. They are well built and well rounded strings. A good durability on all the strings even in my hands (I bend a lot). Some strings like B and higher E break more easily but that is expected right?
These guitars, through my Marshall amp with these strings have a rich sound and make me close my eyes just to hear the sounds.
Daddario EXL110BT
The Daddario EXL110BT strings are, in my opinion, quite perfect.
I use the strings on most of my guitars and they always sound great.
The feeling is top, and they are long lasting, i change every 8 weeks on my Les Paul wich i play usally 3 hours per day, and every 9 weeks on the Strat.
Also interesting is the fact, that they do not break as fast as erni balls i use on some of my guitars.
The only thing i don`t like on them, is the fact, that they habe the coloured ball ends. On Strats i do not care about that, but on my Les Pauls it looks just not perfect.^^
So all in this strings are great! And i will buy them constantly in the future.
As good as...
... D'addario strings have been all the time. For me this is the next step in strings, the new balanced tension sets are perfect. As you can see on the chart on the D'addario website the traction of the strings is now really balanced by far the best on the EXL110BT and I can say you that you can feel this by playing. Now more flappy G strings or too tight E strings. Love them. Beside of that, for me D'addario are the strings that last by far the longest.
quite a difference
I'm used to have the Daddario EXL110 on my Gibson LP Junior, so i was curious what it would feel like playing such a new balanced tension set of strings.
First of all, they sound quite the same as the normal EXL110, which is not really surprising because they are made of the same material.
The only thing which is obviously different is the gauge of some strings.
It feels not as drastic as i thought, perhaps it takes a little less strenght to bend the strings.
After all the EXL110BT sound the same as the EXL110 and i think it's a matter of taste if you like the new string gauges.
