Excellent strings

especially for that price! One of the best brands with the perfect strings for my guitars, highly recommended

my 2nd favorite strings

i used to play 11-52 and if there was a 10 pack of those, i would exclusively buy those, but this is a close second.

My go to strings

Guitar tech recommended these. Had my guitars set up for these. One less thing to think about. Good value.

My absolute favorites!

No more slimy G string sounds on a Stratocaster!

Open, clear and powerful tone full on!

Nothing beats Daddario.

Best of the "old school" strings

There are better string sets, e.g. when it comes to durability, but overall quality and price is a solid combination. After several years with 10/52 gauge, I changed to 11/49 and now it's my standard for all electrics. Works for Telly, Strat, 335 and LP.

Been big fan of D'Addario products from 1981... steel string acoustics and bass included.

Excellent quality

I have used these strings on my electric guitars with standard tunings for a few years now and when properly maintained, they last a few months easily. Also I have not had any breakages although I use them with a tremolo system as well. Excellent strings!

The best

I use Daddario on all my electric guitars. For me they last long enough, have a nice balanced tone and hardly ever snap. Also much less packaging than Ernie Ball etc which is a nice touch.

Such a great deal!

Save a lot and buy this box set of 10 right now! I've used these for a long time and have always liked them.

I use them on a AVRI Jazzmaster and they really make the instrument sing. Last decently long and have not had any bizarre brakes all the time I have used them.

Strings! Lots of strings!

It's a sad day when you realise you can't enjoy any of your four electric guitars. Two need set up and two have horribly rusty strings (my fault, I should change them more often than annually). Enter this cute little blue box. I'm a big Daddario fan, their EXL strings have been on my guitars for years. They stay bright and fresh for ages longer than their rivals and I've only snapped one in the last decade (due to a wonky jazzmaster bridge, not the string's fault). I'm a bit of a chord basher and these strings take a lot of punishment and stay sounding great for far too long. Well done Daddario.

I like this big box, no excess packaging and the string sets are in the standard grey bag, was easy enough to chuck a few spare sets in my gig bag without messing around with endless cardboard packaging.

The string for those who hates changing strings

I have a cheap Strat copy strung with these and it's great for retro distortion tones, Buddy Holly imitations and more. It can do the hyper-mellow jazz thing too. And for slides? Really smooth. Not so much a benders string, but there's lots of interesting things going on with these. Voicing of conventional chord shapes seem to take on a sense of 2 separate registers, with the unwound strings sounding separate from the chunky, woody sound of the flats. This makes soloing a very different experience, as moving strictly vertically on the neck can have a very abrupt effect (which can be used, to make little call and response or pedal-note style ideas on the fly).

I think anyone who uses round wound, regardless of genre, should try a set of flat wound strings at least once and I'm glad I chose this set.

d'addario EXL115

For the last 15 years or so, i keep coming back to d'addario,

consistent quality, at a price point that every musician can afford.

For me, as an occasional DADGAD tuner, this is the perfect compromise gauge of strings.

Excellent bulk buy.

These are universally popular professional quality guitar strings which I use on several of my instruments so it's very welcome to have a bulk pack available. As well as for guitarists I could see this being a useful thing for any studio operator to have a secret stash of just in case a guitarist should get caught short.

Good strings at a great price

Industry standard strings at a good price. As a working musician I use Daddario EXL strings because they are consistently reliable.
