Great Longevity with clear standerd Tone

Theses strings are great for the price and seem to last longer than all the other brands i've tried previousley. There's nothing crazy interesting about them they do the job and they have a clear bright tone which keeps for quite a long time. The string sets are great value and a good investment if your a giging musician and you come to terms with that fact that your going to be breaking stings at some point, with these baby's it just lasts a bit longer.

Perfect for re-stringing multiple guitars.

i bought this set a couple months ago for the first time, at the time i had to re-string 3 guitars so this was perfect at the time, admittedly i did by a gauge higher than i intended but they still match the criteria for everything i want strings, they took a short while to get used to due to them feeling thicker than what i'm used to (i usually have 9's and intended to buy a set of 10's)

These are perfect though, they are comfortable to play on, they don't stress my fingers either, even after 4 hour band sessions or hour long gigs, they work exactly as i had hoped they would and sound incredible, they sound brand new even as i'm coming to the point where i am going to change them (every 6 weeks) so i have no complaints.

Quality Product at Excellent Price!

I am a professional musician and use these strings on a number of instruments, mainly on Fender Telecasters with brass saddles/ashtray bridges.

I have always used D'addario strings as I prefer them over other popular brands, and these are no exception. The quality and consistency between string sets is excellent, and the tone they produce is fantastic if you prefer heavier strings. For rock and pop styles these provide a very solid tone with lots of sustain due to the thicker size, and work well for Jazz too as an alternative to flat-wounds.

I perform 3-4 nights a week and these strings last well, very occasional breakage and cope well with sweat and abuse. Would recommend to anyone looking for a heavier set of strings.

A long time Daddario fan

Ive been a long time Daddario user. Their consistency is second to none and I really like the packaging.

However these are the new "balanced tension" sets of .11s. Funny how it feels totally different from the old set. A bit heavier overall and took some time getting used to. But in the end I really connected with them and have them now as standard in my Jazzmaster and Strat.

Highly recommended.

great strings

I have tried other brands, but these daddario are great, cheap, last long and are not very prone to breakage, they have a great tone, full and brilliant at the same time, they are not too hard to use, in any case suitable for genres where it is needed, or in the blues, jazz or metal and the like, in any case, I advise you, especially since their price is very affordable

good value

I have settled on these strings as my favourite string type and gauge. I use a Jazzmaster so a medium gauge is ideal to ensure adequate string tension. Plus I find higher string gauges prevent accidentally pushing the strings out of tune. This is particularly important for me because I play acoustic a lot which has higher strong tension so it is easy to fret to hard on the electric.

The strings are bright but not too bright and they last a long time. Good value.

Best guitar strings!

By all brands of guitar strings I've tried during my years in music, it has always led me back to these, D'addario.

The reasen I choose D'addario is because you will never get disappointed. The tone is round and clear and it stays in that shape for months!

If they tend to get dirty, they are easily wiped of with just a simple clean cloth.

Another thing I like about these strings is that they can take very much hard handling. I can bend them, scrape them, pull them and just beat the hell out of them. They still keep playing as if I've never touched them.

The condition capability is perfect!

If I were to recommend any strings what so ever, I would strongly recommend these to anyone whether you are a jazz, rock or metal guitarist!

These strings will never let you down!

The Best

D'Addario strings are superb quality and have consistent rich tone. Bright and clear, the 11s are great for guitars with a Bigbsy or similar vibrato. Last a long time too, although how nice is a new set of strings!

My default electric string!

These are my default electric strings, I've given up trying other brands & gauges!

The tone, feel & playability are everything I could ask for on my strat & tele.

Highly recommended :-)

I bought these for my Cort M200 and I'm totally happy with them. Mostly I play in E-standard or Drop-D and with the EXL 115 these tunings are no problem at all. They have a brilliant sound and stay in tune very well. Furthermore they last over months on my guitar with only less erosion but I only occasionally play on it. I play meanwhile over 2 years with these strings and never any of them ripped - even at strong bendings.

In my eyes the proportion of quality to the price is unbeatable.

Fantastic strings for a fantastic price

If you're looking for some .11 strings to playing in lower tunings or just to beef-up your tone then you've found the strings for you!

I've been using these strings for about 4 years now and I've never had one brake on me and the only reason I have to change them is then I have to clean my fretboard. They stay so clean and new for so long I've had people play my guitar as note the new strings when in reality they're over a month old!

Daddario's plastic sealed wrapping mean when these strings got to me they were as fresh as the day they were made!

Good strings for the price!

Good strings for the price. They don't last much past a month or even 3 weeks, but then again most strings don't.

They can be a bit on the bright side, but that is a matter of preference.

Would never use other strings after using these

After trying various other brands of strings such as ernie ball, DR etc I have definitely settled on these. I have been using them for a long time now on various guitars and they sound great, always consistent in quality too. great strings.

Review of Daddario EXL115-3D

Its handy having these in sets of 3 - Daddarios are a good standard of string and about mid price range.

D'addario 11's

Great strings for older style guitars. Great tone & feel and perfect if down tuning to Eb. Multipacks are great value.

Electric Strings

These strings are awesome, great long life for tone & playability. They feel silky smooth too! They respond brilliantly to the slightest change in technique too :)

Cheers Tom
