Top Saiten

All round strings

I have used these strings now for a while. After long periods of search for the right strings, these suit my playing the best. As an improviser, I want to have the possibility to go into 'different zones'. With previous brands and string-thickness i felt 'thrown to a musical corner' at times, feeling some restrictions in style or musical direction I wanted to go.

Those suit my playing, and I feel a good response from them to what and where I want to go musically.

best strings for low tunings

pros

-great sound

-durability

cons

Reliable and good quality

These strings never let me down. They are versatile and last a while and I use them for heavy gigging.

My go to strings for Tele

I've tried numerous strings over the past 15 years: ghs, elixir, fender, dunlop, ernie ball, daddario, etc. Ernie Ball and Daddario are the ones I narrowed my search down to. However, I prefer Daddario as sonically they sound better, acoustically louder if it makes sense. I have three Telecasters and this package is basically what I need to give them a fresh touch once per quarter. And I really like how Tele with 11s sounds comparing to 10s, wider if you will. Also, stringing top E and A with vintage-style tuners easier as top strings are stiffer so tend to not slip out from a tuning peg.

great tone and tuning stability

I love these strings on my semi hollow guitars! great tone, and comfortable bending the strings.

The pure nickel ones are great as well.

Brilliant tone

Everlasting, brilliant mellow tone, easy to bend, by far my favorite ones for semihollow guitar. I would consider trying 12s for a gibson lp

My favorite pro guitar string both for live and in studio: Perfect for BIG stratocaster sound. Great for bending.

Good but for me not perfect

Although they are durable and feel like quality strings I wasn't that satisfied with the tone.

It's not what I expect from 11's. But let's not forget that comes down to personal preferences.

Fabulous strings with great longevity and tone.

Ok...

Use them 3 or 4 times a week. They are very good, in the first 4 days. Then they start to sound and feel bad.

The durability is what makes me spend more on other strings, because i hate changing strings.

Pros - great sound, great feel, balanced tones

Cons - 3 days and you have to change them.

good enough

I have been always using jazz flatwounds because I liked the

full tone sound they produce for blues. But decided to try something more bright. I really liked them. I am using a hollowed body guitar and some pedals, so the flatwounds produced too much noise.

Easy to slide, easy to bend, wounded strings dont produce so much noise. After a month of (ab)use they seem to hang on well enough.

Price is definitely good for 3 packages.

Great strings.

Always reliable. I have been using earnie balls for a long time but I use this one for last 2 years and these strings are the real deal to my taste.

Great Strings at an Affordable Price

I've used Daddario strings for years after having tried out a few different brands.

I always used to use a light 10-guage brand but having decided to permanently tune down to D standard some heavier gauge strings were needed.

I settled on these and they did not disappoint!

They are perfect for D tuning (I would be reluctant to go lower with them) and have a clean crisp tone to them. I play mostly metal and rock and I find them ideal for that.

Can't recommend highly enough!

D'Addario's are all I ever use!

Consistent tuning... bright sound... been using them for years on Strats, Les Pauls, Teles, ESPs, Jacksons! Highly recommended!
