why 9-65 ?
I have M80M, and every time I used 9-80. Original string gauge is .009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042/.054/.065 and I decided to try this set. It became more clear, pure sound. Great for soloing. 4 stars only because of the new 4th string of set was with some marks ( surface mechanical attrition ). As I think 9-80 set is best for 0010111001 playing. :-)

Use on a 7string without the 54 -- much better balance than regular 7string sets!
