Great strings; sound/feel great and last a long time, as expected with D'Addario. I used to use these for E standard but honestly I realized after a while that the lower strings were just ridiculously tight (even broke a bunch of A strings while tuning up). I would suggest to use these for some drop tunings.

Best Strings Ever!

Ok, forgive the overly enthusiastic header, but I really love these strings. I don't play Live and haven't for a long time. I use these in my home studio for client recordings and YouTube videos.

They feel great under the fingers, keep that "fresh new strings" sound for much longer than other strings I've used and they sound louder than other strings for some reason.

I highly recommend them.

Excellent choice of strings

I tried lots and lots of strings before deciding to use these D'Addario sets. I like the flexibility it gives me on the light string, it helps me achieve huge bends without hurting my fingers while not being as sloppy as an even lighter set. The bottom strings are a bit heavier than a normal .10 set which helps my rhythm playing sound tight. I wouldn't recommend these for playing heavier sounds but for my playing (blues/indie/alternative) this is an ideal match!

I find in them anything I need, tone and definition-wise, and I just couldn't be happier with their quality!!!

I like to play around with different tunings, and thet offer a wide range of gauges. Also, the fact that a huge range of singles of any gauge are available to customize sets, is brilliant!!!

From time to time I try other brands, and many are OK, but is just I have found my feel and tone with D'Addario, and I'm always going back to using them.

It's a matter of taste, as always when sound is involved.

For me they're PERFECT, I love them!!!

Good reliable strings

I play alot of gigs and I seem to go through strings very quickly so I was so happy when D'addario started offering these 10 pack sets. I play everything from alternative rock to country music and these are the most versatile strings I have used. A couple of the High E's have been poor quality and snapped after being played for a few seconds but apart from the quality has been spot on. I have never had this problem before with these strings so I'm putting it down to a minor factory fault.

You can always count on Daddario strings, and these are no exeption. They last a long time, they sound great and they are easy to play on. what more could you really want?

Really useful.

I've put these on my Strat (Classic vibe 50's), and they really help the sound of the bottom end, while also keeping the treble and lead sound clean. So the best of both worlds really. And a 10 pack is super handy to have.

Only string I use

After trying all the other brands I finally settled on these. For me they are the perfect balance of tension, sound and reliability. If you take care of them they rarely break which I can't say for other brands I've tried.
