Like fine wine

I installed these strings on my Fender Jazz Bass. In the beginning, they sounded too bright for my taste. It is nothing you cannot solve with some equalization, though. As time passes, they lose brightness, and I prefer their sound when they have aged a little bit. The construction is solid and durable, as you can expect from D'Addario.

They sound really nice and tangy and are great value for the price

Nice set of strings at a sharp price.

These are really good strings to put on your bass. They have that snappy and bright sound typical for D'Addario Nickels, but because of their higher gauges, they still have a strong fundamental.

Tension is great, not too stiff, but also not floppy.

All in all, a good set of strings.
