Bought it for my Danelectro Longhorn Bass

I bought it for my Danelectro Longhorn bass since it has guitar tuners, thicker strings don't fit. Well, this fit perfectly and I was amazed by the clear, bright sound I get from these, and the tension is really enjoyable, it's not too floppy at least for my taste. I honestly felt like I'm playing another bass, I'll definitely be buying again.

Improved sound

Swapped the strings on a harley benton pb-shorty... these make a great difference to the sound. Not cheap, but worth it.

Best string for short-scale

Absolutely the best strings for short scale basses

Great sounding strings for short-scale

I ordered this set to go along with my Harley Benton PB-Shorty, and they make the world of difference. These strings are in the basic mid-priced range, but will last for years. They're a wonderful addition to any short-scale bass, without having to worry about any additional nut filing. Very bright, yet punchy enough if EQ'd correctly. I highly recommend these & plan to purchase again if need be!

Amazing difference

I was already happy with the Harley Benton "Shorty" Bass at the price paid. With these strings replacing the original stock ones its performance is even better.

Noticeably more volume and more variation in tone available via the controls on the instrument and eq on that amp.

I had been concerned that the combination of light gauges and short scale might mean very low tension, particularly on the E string, but that isn't the case.
