nice alternative

i use this with 34, and 44 and trebles from 10s gauge.

there's just a little less tension which suits 10 gauge trebles. i prefer lighter basses to trebles.

d'addario are the best strings for their price interns of tone and lastability.

Perfect for Cigar Box Guitar

I use this on the top g of my GDg tuned instrument. Perfect unplugged or through an amp, and great with the slide.I match it to Daddorio 42 and 32 for the G and D.

Smooth and punchy

Great sturdy build once again from D'Addario, I'd never go with any other brand. These strings can easily take a beating from the heaviest players and retain their great sound no matter what tuning you put them in, the stay nice and clear when down tuned without becoming muddy. They sound great in all sorts of tones, punchy and aggressive with heavy rhythm tones, smooth and singing in lead tones and warm in clean tones. Generally all round brilliant strings and last for ages under regular gigging conditions, even for me and my sweaty hands, can't recommend these enough at all.
