They stay fresh and bright longer, never have broken on me and sound amazing. I love these and they are on each guitar I have.

Sounds grand and stays grand!

I've not really been a big fan of Daddario electric guitar strings for a long time. Until I discovered the NYXLs...

Tonally, they sound brighter than all other electric guitar strings I've used before. They also sound a little louder, however the dynamics are in still in good control. The best part of these strings are that they are really so durable and strong. You'd never worry that they would hardly break during a gig and they definitely stays in tune very well. The life of the strings are really really so long. They feel grand when you are playing these strings. They are of course more expensive but worth every penny.

Happy accident

After playing other strings for decades my guitar tech put the NYXL on my preferred live guitar (a Les Paul, top wrapped as always). I first thought he put the wrong gauge on to start with! Balanced tone and the life span of the the NYXL is far better than any other string I've used in the past, the intonation stays better for a longer period of time and, maybe this is a coincidence but, I've so far not broken one single string, after 2 years (and hundreds of gigs - I change strings every 3 gigs btw) of using NYXL's on all my guitars (plus bass guitars). Highly recommend!

I bought this fot my Schecter S1 Elite with standart tuning.

For many years, i used many different strings but this is clearly the best out of box string ever. It feels very nice while playing and has balanced bass-treble frequencies.

They’re my go to strings. They’re literally perfect for my taste, playing style. I can’t say enough positive things about these strings.

Best strings I know

I use these strings on my Ibanez RG for the last 5 years. I was using XLs before (for 10 years). The NYXLs last 2 months longer, the intonation stays the same through the whole length of the string. (On XLs the intonation goes after 1 month), they never corrode, have better tuning stability.

The sound is close but not exactly the same. NYXL have brighter high E string. I would say XLs sound better but just a little and depends what you're looking for.

The price is not a problem. They last 2 times longer than XLs.

Oh and the packaging is fantastic!

My favorite strings so far

Compared to all other guitar string sets I've tried, the D'Addario NYXL are the best. Quick to stretch so they keep tuning stability from day 1. Very resistant to corrosion and keep considerably crispy for months.

Great strings for electric guitar

Great string of good quality-price ratio, I use it in general on most electric guitars. Buy them by the batch is you need more sets.

My go to strings for years

I've used GHS Boomers for ages but now I use this set of strings for an Ibanez Prestige with EdgeZeroIII. I've using them for quite some years already and I think I never broke one. They're very bright sounding and I only change them when the sound starts to dull out after weeks.

The best strings I've ever tried

This strings are the best I've ever tried so fa. First of all they stay in tune better than any other strings, furthermore they sound even better than the most expensive strings that you can find. Definitely my go to strings.

Those strings are so unbelievably strong, with great quality and long life, that you won’t use smth. different, once you try it. Keeps guitar in tune for very long time. The price is higher, but well deserved. One of the best products in the Guitar world.
