Great but a bit pricey

I don`t use this strings anymore because I don`t like the sound. Other then that they last for long time if you just wipe them after every use. Sound wise they do provide more Crunch and punch but there are not for me.

I will give all 5 stars even if I don't like the sound, because that's only me and it doesn`t feel right to give them less. And price is a bit high.

My favorite strings

I playing metal and tried out a lots of types of strings, this one I stopped at and now only buying it.

It has a nice, bright and clear sound and also lasting longer than other strings.

I recommend to try it at least once and if it's not your sound, you can move to another, it just really catched me.

Game changing strings

I used to be a regular user of a "slinky" variety of strings for over 15 years, until a recommendation at my local guitar shop. Initially, I was wary because of the price, but NYXL strings are worth every penny. They sound better, stay in tune more and last much longer (whilst sounding great) than any other brand of strings I have encountered. I was an immediate convert and I can't see myself using another type. I have them on my Jazzmaster and can heavily use the vibrato without any tuning issues whatsoever. 10/10.

Just great

I use them for a month now on my Fender American Special strat. They feel and sound amazing.

I used to switch between Elixir and DR Pure Blues but these are just level above in my opinion.

I really don't see any flaws here, maybe only that they are a little pricey, but they are cheaper than the Elixir anyway.

In general, if you want top strings this is the way to go!

Excellent !

I haven't used anything different since. They last much longer and maintain a great sound and tuning. I have recommended these strings to my friends and anyone looking to try something new.

Just a bit better for a bit longer

Everything is in the header: these string sets have just a bit more clarity and resonance than the other ones I have tried so far, and they last a bit longer without totally losing the snap of a new set.

quality strings

the Daddario NYXL1046 are top quality guitar strings. they take very little time to settle in after changing strings and they hold tuning great. they also seem to resist corrosion well too

Awesome

I said I would try these out on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. I put these on my strat and it came alive a bit more they just felt really good to play n resonated very nicely.

They are quite expensive though maybe they could cut the price a bit by leaving out the sticker and fancy packaging.

Still all in all great sounding strings!!!

They're great, like every other D'addario string

These strings are great, very defined mids and high output. However whether they are worth triple the amount of the normal D'addario nickel strings is another matter, haven't played them for that long so I can't comment on longevity - sound quite similar to the ernie ball cobalt strings in terms of their attack and frequency response.

One thing to note, these do feel like a slightly higher tension than standard nickel strings - presumably due to the core material. Though they are technically at the same tension as any other string of the same gauge there is something about them which makes them feel slightly heavier - this is however, extremely marginal.

So far the best streings I've ever had.

Clear and crisp sound, very durable. Easy to tune. I own Fender Strat and these strings are in perfect pitch even after heavy tremolo usage. I would definitely recommend these strings to everyone!

Great feel but.....

These strings feel great but their life sucks. Played them for about a hour and the next day they were rusty. Packaging has an irritating feel. Overall they are very strong and hard to break but they have durability problems against sweat.
