My mind is finaly at rest. No longer will tuning or big bends on the E string scare me. I am healed.

Always needed

The thinnest string always snaps first, at least in my case, and it's always nice to have a spare. It sounds good and spares me the heartache of opening an entire pack just for one string.

You know it'll happen to you too, so why not get one.

Backups are a must

It is essential to have backup high E strings. This specific one is perfect for people that use 9 gauge Daddario strings.

I used this string on my electric guitar and i have nothing bad to say about it.

As always, D'addario strings are top quality and sound very good.

It's a Daddario 9. Let's not fool ourselves, you are here because you broke the one from your set while restringing your guitar and you had to steal one from the next pack and now you are 1 string down.

Using this as an E string i have found it very useful when producing a singular note or in fact using it as part of a chord!

Seriously,it does the job,comes in a sealed bag for freshness and will be purchased many times over the coming years.Simple yet effective.

I have nothing bad to say about this string. It's good, it's solid, and it sounds good. As always, D'addario is good. I will recommend it to people. (and have done so before)

Spare string

You're replacing the strings on your guitar when suddenly your high e string breaks, this is the perfect replacement, now I don't have to buy a whole new pack.

Great quality!

Great sound and quality! I needed a spare high e string and I didn?t want to open a full pack of strings. You can never have enough spare high e strings! I would recommend having a couple of these on standby!

i started to use Daddario strings 10 years ago and i still do.

I always have 3-4 009 strings in case mine would break but actually it is not so easy. Usually i change the whole set (because the strings get old) and the 009 is still there.

Good String

I got this string over two months ago. This string sounds good. I bought this string because I broke the E string on two of my guitars in a week. I needed some strings cheep. This string hasn't failed me yet. I advise you to buy this product.

Great as bottom string for saz (baglama)

I've tested many different strings for my acoustic saz and my electric saz (a Turkish string instrument) and the PL009 is the best one to use as the bottom string. I can really recommend this for saz players!

i use these to replace harley benton 009 strings as they always break when i wind them on posts!!---sorry--but you asked for honest revue!.......daddario stuff is always reliable/good quality.....can't get better in my opinion...........thanks.....

A good string.

A good .09 string for the guitar. Has a bright, lasting tone, and is smooth to play. Bend really nicely too, wihtout being excessively flabby. Would recommend for anyone who's good at breaking their high e's, like me.
