Best in class

Only ones I'll ever use again.

I've bought this one and PL017 for custom made set from d'Addario EXL 157 baritone medium gauge, its 0,14 and 0,18 seem to me too strong for comfortable playing. With 0,13 and 0,17 I have best experience as they are included in d'Addario EXL 158 baritone Light gauge set, recommended.

Replacement E string for the EPS600 set

I carry a couple of these as a spare E string to go with the EPS600 set (013-017-026w-036-046-056). In that context, and the fact that it comes in a sealed bag to prevent corrosion, these are just about perfect.

For those who use heavier gauge strings, unlike some other manufacture's strings, D'Addario's don't seem to suffer from the same kind of tightening (like to noose) around the ball-end when you tune up to concert. (i.e. D'Addario are not assuming that the 013 is a lower tension B string.)

If you're looking for a spare string for a D'Addario set, you know exactly what this sound like. Recommended.

D'addario is always good and this isn't an exception. Doesn't break easily and sounds good. I would recommend it to anyone.

Good String

Brought these as spares in case i broke a string gigging as i didn't want to break into a new set for one string. On the occasions that I've needed to use them they been fine, and seem to match in with the other strings though they were a different make.

A must have if you keep breaking strings on your guitar.

They might not feel as good as Ernie Ball strings, but if you don't want to buy a whole new sets of strings everytime you break one, having backups is a good idea. These are definitely the best single strings and are fairly cheap as well.

Great strings

I use D'Addario strings on most of my guitars and find them long lasting and stable. Good product and not expensive.

Always consistent and with great tone

All D'Addario strings have great tone, last ages and are very consistent (I've never had a bad string in all the years I've used them). These single strings are no different either. Long enough for longer scale guitars (baritone) too.

Standard back up string

I have been using these strings as a standard reserve for the last three years and they do the job that they are supposed to do. They last a couple of months but really only serve the purpose of a broken string at rehearsal and during gigs. Highly recommended.

Single 13 thou steel string.

This string has been fine for me, it's exactly as described, comes in a paper envelope. Sound fine, difficult to point ou any differences over another 13 thou steel string. Fairly cheap, so I'd recommend.
