Ok but loses tone tone quickly

The string is ok but it loses its tone in roughly 2 weeks (and that's not even with heavy use, 1-2 rehearsals per week).

After that time, it becomes REALLY dull and starts sounding sort of like if you would turn the tone knob all the way down or perhaps like a flatwound. Unfortunately this experience has been consistent with all daddario bass strings I've tried so far.

If you like the feel of roundwounds but the sound of flats, or if you have to much highs and upper mids you need to tame, perhaps give this string a try but otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

Especially if you play metal, punk or similar genres - this string is a good way to make your OD/distortion sound really bad.
