Danelectro 58 longhorn bass

First impression out of the box was of a well finished pretty little bass.It has a well balanced feel with no neck dive and it looks really cool if you like the retro style.I ran the bass through my trace Elliot and the sound was crisp and clean and surprisingly can be slapped. The main reason for choosing a 3/4 bass comes down to the weight of a full size bass and for me it,s easier to be able to sing and play live.Danelectro have really committed themselves with a good choice of left handed models that are available in colours other than black. The only concerns long term are the tiny tuning keys and the fragile looking knobs but I am very happy with this bass.
