Meeting the pedal

Me, as a beginner, took this just to try "a pedal". I choose the first one pedal from "price: low to high" list that doesn't look like clown's requisite.

The pedal has small range of tuning that doesn't sound like total crap but it was easy to find it. Actually I was surprised that it didn't sound like toilet flush, it was actually playable. For other paragraphs I don't have questions: quality is good, nothing did fell apart, features just include gain and tone, as expected.

Actually I hadn't any causes to buy a pedal and I hadn't any expectations from this one, but it was a needed for me to experience playing with pedal. If I haven't bought this pedal, I would regret that I didn't try

Drops

If you go in drops, it will sound weird, but after all it's nice.

Black and has character

I am into distortion stacking to achieve unique tones, so tried adding this to my set. Not much to lose at the price!

With only three knobs, this is (thankfully) not just another clone of the infamous mid-scooping Metal Z...

The most interesting sound I've found so far is actually somewhere between fuzz and metal in character and is found with gain set to (or at least very near) minimum and the tone knob somewhere midway to fit the rest of your chain (and that includes your ears).

I see no problem with the plastic casing, and the switch feels a tad more convincing than on the Danelectro "Food" series. The positioning of the knobs may annoy some, but will force you to actually 'listen' to the tone rather than looking where the knobs are. Oh, and you get a black carrying pouch, always nice.

Good Little Pedal

I Got this after playing with a friends denelectro pedal, and a passion for metal :D It impressed me a lot when i first got it, the tone it could give me out of my tiny amp amazed me! Now i have a Masrshall half stack but i still come back to this pedal if i need a ridiculous metal tone! It delivers so much gain it incredible, but sill gives some good clarity. and even though it is made of plastic I have been stomping on mine for over 6 years and its still going strong! and the controls being on the back mean they are only changed when you want them to. All in all this is a great little pedal for someone who like high gain on their guitar and maybe a little metal :)
