D'Angelico Premier Fulton Iced Tea Burst 5-stars Reviews
Classic looks with impressive tone.
As a pro musician, I needed a 12 string for a project.I wouldn't have a lot of use for a 12 string but I did not want to buy cheap overall quality. I had tried many 12 strings over a few months and was not happy with what I played, so why buy one I hadn't tried? I new the Dangelico name of old and even though this is a relatively new company resurrecting the name, I liked what they were saying and what was being said in reviews.I had some reservations when I heard it was made in China but I must say I am pleasantly surprised. The workmanship is fantastic and the sound across the high end is crystalline, while the bass is robust, creating remarkable tonal balance. Its single-cutaway Grand Auditorium design and slightly longer headstock give the Premier Fulton a nostalgic look, but with a clear, glistening sound. All the specs are on the product page but a couple of things I liked are the slim C neck profile and the nut width at 48mm make this a very comfortable guitar to play. The solid spruce top and laminate mahogany back give this guitar a big sound. The only downside is the electrics, while they are very good, they are limiting, I would have liked to see Fishman or L.R.Baggs, I may well change to L.R.Baggs down the line. However I understand this would have changed the price point, but it's such a good guitar I still would have bought it. I think by now you know I like this guitar, The sound is amazing, the build quality is very good and the price incredible....
