Perfect sound balancing tool, match your sound to the venue very quickly. I use this between my Mackie mix 5 and my E400 t, amp, hi & lo outs of my Rolls, into the 2 stereo channels of the E400, one E400 out goes into a massive, passive 18" reflex bass cab, the other E400 out, goes into a passive 10" with horn. I'm solo & looper, doing medium rock to regae from last 50 years. I have a destinctly mono sound without any effects. My sound is clean and powerful enough for big & busy bars. The Rolls really kicks up the ability to "make them have it". A great little tool. I must mention that the other main "out" of the Mackie mixer goes to my active monitor.

I'm quite impressed with the sound quality I'm getting from this. You might expect that filters as steep as 24 dB/oct might result in odd phase trouble, but I really can't hear any trouble, even when moving the x-over frequency up and down a bit. I don't hear any noise either even at high gain. Just be sure to turn things on in the right sequence, because it gives a short loud spike right when you turn it on, which is probably why they didn't include a power button. In most cases this won't be a problem.

This little package had us surprised by the features and performance it’s providing for such a small form factor. The DSP processing is very flexible and easy to use and to add to the flexibility the volume controls for each channel allows fast adjustments without needing to go through complex menus ,plus the quick access to different configurations through the other buttons makes it so much more efficient. I have used quite a few of these in the past, I can safely say this one is by far the best in quite a few ways, ease of use, sound quality and size, mono/sterio is another good point, add the low cost, this active crossover is a great machine for even disco. I find that careful selection of matching equipment load and impedances, from mic or instrument to amplifying and speakers, that chanel eq is not needed much at all, plus DSP seems to be helping too, but this active crossover is the jewel in the crown of my sound systems, much more control of my frequencies, full & rich sounds are now mine.

I have bought this crossover for an home wifi multi-amp setup Crossover is extremely flexible which make multi-amp setup very easy Low stage can be implemented in stereo, mono and mono-bridged in a matter of few changes Sound quality is good: actually with the flexibility of the active crossover, with all speaker driven in the correct freq ranges, overall quality has improved a lot quality of construction is more than enough for home use where the environment is friendly. I just bought another one to implement multi amp in another room :-)

I was looking for an active crossover and ended up deciding to just go for a full loudspeaker management system! The goal was - 1.) get full crossover functionality with different filters available, 2.) have remote control capability through PC and 3.) spend no more than ¤400 for it. I've been running a bunch of these, both in rental and installation usage and these run great. They are able take tremendous amounts of abuse and still beat up the big boys. Spill a drink on a device that costs more than four times what this little beast does and your night is ruined. Do that on a DCX and it still runs fine, of course buttons will be a bit sticky but that's all. Outdoor events are no problem, and it performs as well on a sunny beach as during the coldest Finnish winter nights. It's a bit shame that this device doesn't have a modern interface connection and only comes with a outdated RS-232 serial port. This is the best value dps you can get for the money! I tried it in my home studio and live,it surely does wonders! i also use it to route it in my bass amp as sent and return so i could get that extra features on my amp more eq and more compression! Sound quallity is very good no extra hiss or ground problem and since it has all the ballanced connection it makes life easier, But it could be better not hardware vise but software + alowing us to mod it also,,what do i mean by it,, adding on, bypass buttons in software for every path in chain eq,compression,etc and changing order of it,,also what would be nice to add midi support of software simple bypass option or change speakers like for example if you have 4 speaker on output, you could make feuture to mute one pair and play another,,,...

Used it for about 3 months now alongside two TA2400s and a E800, haven't managed to use the software it came with due to the RS232 connection, but it didn't take more than an hour to set it up with the console on the front, once you have the hang of it you'll be able to change settings with ease, my only gripe with the spinny wheel control is that you have to be patient with it and spin it slowly otherwise it sends you in the opposite direction you were turning it, but obviously compared to the price of some other units, its spot on, I'd probably recommend using this as a active crossover only and getting another unit for EQ/RTA unless you're able to use the software

Behringer have made an extremely affordable little 1u unit that fills a lot of needs in the field. Basically this is a 'lite' version of the normal ultradrive pro. Some of the older features it's bigger brother have been removed; RS232, card memory, which in all honesty aren't missed because they are pretty dated these days anyhow. There's enough memory and features (limiters, EQ, Delay, Phase, etc.) built in to deal with most situations; mono 6 way, zoner, stereo 3 way, 2+subs, etc. and imo has one of the most user friendly interfaces on the market. Everything is still on XLR as you would expect and it still has the same 6 outputs, which are fully route-able, but only 2 inputs on this version. If you are looking for a simple controller on a budget, you can't go wrong here. Only...
