Poor assembling quality

After plugging in the guitar there was no sound. I notice that the jack movements causes some sound through but in irregular connection position. I had to dismentle the jack socket and found out that there is an inaccurate soldering caused short circuit of both cables. I had to clean the soldering place to eliminate the cause of short circuit. After that the connection took place as it is supposed to. Very disappointed with the quality of Dean...

Not for the shy

I'm a guitar player and I was looking for a bass. I wanted it to be playable and nice but on the low price range.

This one fullfils my expectations and even exceeds them. Good sound and comfortable to play.

Most people think it is ugly as hell because of the colour but I like it precisely for it. It's a love it or hate thing I suppose.

I liked it so much that i thought of getting a matching guitar (Dean custom zone NG guitar)

The only thing I don't like about it is that one tunning peg is not working properly. But they are cheap so I bought a spare and I will change on next strings change.

Pros:

- Style!!

- Superb price tag

- Perfect for beginners

- People will remember the bass player after the gig ;)

Cons:

- Style!!

- Some quality problems (YMMV)

Summary:

I'm happy with it. It is good for the price if you are into that colourful aesthetic.
